I fully agree with what you said about Baby Driver Whilst I do enjoy the film and would 100% put it above A Fistful of Fingers, I just don’t find it particularly interesting especially by Edgar Wright standards. It’s got a cool style… and that’s it. The characters do nothing for me however. Baby is the blandest Wright protagonist by far and Debora isn’t much better. The side cast are enjoyable though I dunno, it’s a fun enough movie but it never engaged me in the same way as Wright’s other work. I could rewatch the whole Cornetto trilogy any day of the week but Baby Driver is something I don’t have much of a desire to rewatch because I don’t think I’ll get much from it I vastly prefer Last Night in Soho because I find it a lot more thematically interesting. I know everyone will hate me but I wanted to stand alongside this video in spite of all the backlash that the opinion got (but seriously though, Baby Driver and Last Night in Soho are both way better than A Fistful of Fingers 😂)
List: *SPOILERS* . . . . . 7. Baby Driver 1:43 6. Last Night in Soho 5:44 5. A Fistful of Fingers 10:48 4. The World's End 13:28 3. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World 24:51 2. Shaun of the Dead 32:20 1. Hot Fuzz 36:37 You're welcome
You can always learn something from watching badly reviewed films from your favorite directors. When you do eventually watch Alien 3, watch the Assembly Cut. It’s closer to his vision.
I know it might be a strange take but personally I think the world’s end is wright’s best film and maybe even my favourite film of all time. I agree with a lot of this video but I can’t see why the worlds end isn’t funny, imo every joke lands even though I watch it at least twice a year.
I’ve watched this whole series and really enjoyed the others. I am shocked Baby Driver was ranked as worst. I’ve seen most of Edgar’s films and that is my favorite one, even though I understand how Scott Pilgrim is more groundbreaking.
I went through a mid-life crisis when I was 18 so I loved it immediately, I'm now in my "coming to terms with my trauma and living peacefully" era at 21
I get that baby driver isn't particularly funny but I wouldn't say Wright is funny becuase he's british or in a british way as scott pilgrim is definatley one of his funnier films. He just has a good sense of humor regardless of his country of origin. But baby driver being last because it's style over substance is a completley valid take even if I think it is one of his better films personally.
My personal ranking of Wright Theatrical works would go: 1) The World's End 2) Shaun of the Dead 3) Baby Driver 4) Hot Fuzz 5) Last Night in Soho 6) Scott Pilgrim
watch alien 3 you numpty, bad or nawt watching all the films should be a requirement if you have a film youtube channel ;) btw i havent seen alien 3, but you could tell me about it.

I really don't understand why The World's End (2013) is so polarizing, it's a masterpiece just like the rest.

You lost me when you put Baby Driver last. That's one of the two Edgar Wright films I actually love.
It’s because Ansel and spacey. People can’t separate art and artists anymore it’s sad.
@@MrGMovieReviews Anyone who can't separate art and artists, can't do yt videos on art. It's ridiculous
they could also just not like the movie, you know, like it was said in the video
I respect your opinion, but Baby Driver in last caught me off guard. That’s a Top 10 film of all time for me! I love it!
Ironically, Edgar Wright actually was supposed to direct Ant Man but ended up leaving the project. You can still see traces of him in it though.

Another great vid. Before you even suggested it I thought 'hmm I should watch Hot Fuzz after this'. Such a classic
I'm American and even I grew up with Edgar Wright, Shaun of the Dead (2004) is my undefeated, favorite film of all time✌
Finally someone who agrees with me about baby driver
The Sparks documentary was so good, and actually made me a fan of the band.
The World's End gets better the okder you get, its really a movie for 40+ year olds thinking about their old mates
I went through a mid-life crisis when I was 18 so I loved it immediately, I'm now in my "coming to terms with my trauma and living peacefully" era at 21
bro is gonna become a monk at 30

Was watching your denis villeneuve video really liking it. Both Prisoners and Blade runner 2049 are some of my favorite movies of all time.
Baby Driver and Soho at the end????? Are you joking?
I cant help myself, SECOND!
My opinion after seeing last night in soho was that it was one of wrights worst films but still one of my favourites of 2021
scott pilgrim takes off is the best scott pilgrim
the Baby Driver placement is just...uhm...no...
watch alien 3 you numpty, bad or nawt watching all the films should be a requirement if you have a film youtube channel ;) btw i havent seen alien 3, but you could tell me about it.
Worst is def gonna be Scott Pilgrim. Fucking ruined those comics.
