THANK YOU SO MUCH, Dalida was one of our best singer that ever existed. She committed suicide in 1987 but she is still in our hearts .

This is real Dalida, depressive, effusive, emotional, deep. I love her early 70s voice, was healthy. Thank you!

Dereck: Dalida is the greatest gay icon in France! You did not know but it’s important to know. IE, Dalida has been very imitated in transvestites’ cabarets. The 2d gay icon in France is Mylène FARMER!

Dalida and Barbara, were "THE" singers beloved by gay men during the 70s. AIDS killed this generation 😔 This song is about lost illusions and the often sad reality of life. Dalida, by committing suicide, decided to put an end to her suffering. What a dignified and elegant woman ❤️ RIP 🕯🙏🏻

After her first suicide attempt in 1967 Dalida wants to sing more meaningful song like this one in 1972 .The song was censored on the radio because of the lyrics but she performs the song on tv and in her concerts .She always defend in the media the Lgbt at a time where it was not popular .Please react to "gigi l'amoroso" .

"Ciao Amore, Ciao" was the song that she sang at the italian Music festival "Sanremo" on 1967 January 27 after Luigi Tecno (the song was sang separately by Dalila and Tenco) killed himself. For years the Italian television never shows the shootings of her performance and the truth has never been fully disclosed

True definition of an emotional voice sung with the heart. Saw her once and been in love then. And I'm no spring chicken. She had the divine gift of being able to touche people of all ages, all coming in life and for eternity.

Dalida was struggling with suicidal ideas for many years. This song revealed how hard she tried to not leave alone....but knew that without real love, sincere love, life doesn't need to be lived. All her fiancés did commit suicide or were killed, she thought this was her curse.
