    • @gxqx797
      @gxqx797 6 лет назад +9

Duck and ginger lol didnt you watch the vid? Or you just came to an islamic video to post a comment that most muslims can refute?
The quran is the word of god, as were the injil(bible) and torat(torah). At some point the bible and torah, we believe (as stated by allah), were edited i.e. removed/inserted and or passages were edited . So who's to say that particular passage u posted, in regard to if you save/kill a child of israel it is as tho u have saved/killed all of it. Why cant this be a passage that was NOT added/edited in the torah? We dont believe ALL of the torah was changed; there are still truths and some of gods word within it.
However, its validity is in question now as the word of god, as it has been tampered. Same with the bible. Just because muhammad s.a.w(through the word of god) revealed a similar verse in the quran as the one mentioned in the torah; how does that imply plagiarism? If anything it strengthens the argument; as muhammad was known to be an illiterate orphan.
Now, if you find me a source in history that implies true plagiarism in islam i.e. explicity copying/paraphrasing other texts other than the torah/bible( and the many other holy books revelead before it) then please show me. What you cant do however is say the quran copied the torah and bible; as those ORIGINAL (respective) texts were also gods word before being corrupted by men (this is what muslims believe).
We would happily believe in the original bible/torah but we ('we' being muslims and non-muslims alike - in the majority consensus, atleast) know through historical documented fact that they were tampered with.
Again; if you are OR are going to believe in any abrahamic religion; it MUST be islam. You know why?
The quran has never been destroyed. Never been edited. Contains evidences for its validity. Contains proofs and also prophecies; many of which have shown to be true (and not just general 'oh there will be a fire in china bullshizz'.) Scientific descriptions of biological and natural processes that were simply not available or even heard of in its time.
Only recent tech has been able to validate what the quran stated 1400 years ago. Your arguments are from ignorance; i can tell.
Please learn more about islam if you want a decent discussion. And read of it with the intention of understanding its moral. Simply nit-picking verses or reading it with the lense of debating against it will surely not do you/nor the persom you are debating any favours. You will have better discussions of islam when you understand the perspective it is coming from; regardless wether you ultimately believe or not. Have a nice day

    • @SeNniN06
      @SeNniN06 6 лет назад +1

Duck and ginger You obviously never bothered looking up on Islam and what it preaches, rather went ahead to show a verse that is believed to be from same God. As it has been made clear, the message from Adam all the way to last prophet Muhammad (sws) is from the same source. Moses came for his people, the message was given by Gabriel but people later on corrupted it. Jesus came to correct them, as he makes it clear in Bible that I have only come for the lost sheep of Israel. That message is later taken on by a group that started worshiping Jesus (pbuh) as God instead and changed the true message. Jesus (pbuh) calls for the spirit of Truth that will come, but he will not come unless Jesus (pbuh) says that he leaves. Jesus makes it clear that a prophet will come after him, and the only way to know he's the true prophet from God is that he will testify that Jesus came in Flesh. Only prophet in History to have testified Jesus came in flesh is Muhammad (sws) pbuh. It's kind of idiotic to make such claims when Islam presents it self as a true religion that has always been preached from day one from first Human and prophet Adam (pbuh) all the way down to Muhammad (sws) pbuh. All the prophets Abraham, Salmon, Moses, Jesus they all have been glorified and it has been made clear they're from God. That's why if you find similar passages in old revelation, then it only affirms with Quran and strengthens the case for Islam rather then going against it.

funny in begining she felt a bit intimidated as MH came around to help answer Q's (reasonable) but as he approached her with best of manners. She saw no threat n the discuss a healthy one progressed (objective achieved).
What i love particularly about my tall teddy bear friend (MH) here is that he is sincere. He doesnt give one sided bias answers. He is not just in it to convert people but he gives comprehensive argument that is circling the tables n then he lets his counterpart pick n then informs them about it n allows them to make reach their own conclusions at the end of the day. He doesnt BULLY people into religion, he just presents facts as he've read, arguments he've read about (both sides) n just clear n open about it. No shady business when it comes to MH, mashallah a very good quality in a sincere man.

The more you try to control life, the more life resists. It is the same with the human concept of time. The more you try to control it and scheduel life the slower time becomes in that sense. It is like the saying the Man who seeks knowledge knows nothing. The man who does not knows everything. The person who seeks power will not have it. The person who gives power freely will have it back. Resistance of the universe. Dualiity.

Wonderful and knowledgeable answers. If someone believes energy it’s gets easier to understand god. Energy do not have any shape, energy eternal and it’s everywhere. Moreover energy can’t be created nor it can be destroyed. Islam describes Almighty Allah in the similar characteristics.

Its a valid question, some females belief that religion is used as a social patriarchal concept to control the female population. When we say God is gender-less, which Allah also mentions, we can clarify this false belief. This also helps to dismantle any false presumptions she may have had of Islam or religion in general.

It's an absolutely valid question that I've thought about quite a lot. God is not human nor an animal, we cannot conceive of what he is truly like but there is nowhere that defines God's gender, in fact, we mostly presume that the notion of gender does not apply to God. So it does seem both interesting and bizarre that we refer to God as 'him'. If gender does not apply to God then technically we could refer to God as she or her... or we could simply use gender-neutral language. Again, I don't have a particular set opinion on the matter since I haven't studied the topic as well as I'd like to yet but it is an interesting angle to look at the nature of God.

Regarding the argument about the perception of design in nature, I would add the following points:
    1) Our experience is that anything that has design in it is created by someone. Even something as simple as a piece of paper is created and nobody would accept that a piece of paper just came into being ver millions of years. If someone argues that we and all living things on earth, nature, and the universe, has design, but has essentially come about by chance, they have demonstrate examples of that from their own experience, which they cannot. This is why God challenges man to create something as small as an ant, before making such claims.
    2) Secondly, taking the first argument one step further, this concept of inferring a creator from perception of design, is universally accepted. Consider archaeologists and the work they carry out. When they dig up and see design, even in something as simple as a sharpened stone, they im,mediately infer that there was a designer/creator and they then go on to receive millions in grant to dig up further and find evidence.
How is it that a piece of sharpened stone from 30,000 years ago is evidence of a civilisation, but our entire solar system, the universe, and the millions of different species on planet earth, that have very specific and specialised design features that are copied by engineers, is a product of chance? It is not possible and mathematically, such a view has no basis in science, based on the laws of probability. The argument essentially is that even though there is less than 1 in 80 billion chance of the life occurring by chance, there is still a chance, but scientifically that is not acceptable, as there is threshold in Science of 5% for events being due to chance.
    3) Isaac Newton demonstrates the argument of design in an encounter with an atheist friend. Newton ha da model of the solar system with the planets orbiting the sun. His atheist friend asks him who made this model. Newton replied that nobody created it. The atheist friend gets annoyed and marvels at the model and asks again. Newton says that the model is just a model of the real solar system, and although he understand that the model must have a creator, he rejects the idea of the real solar system having a Creator, which is infinitely more complex than the model. Interestingly, Newton was a Unitarian and has a book on forgeries in the Bible, which he subjects to a scientific analysis.
    4) Finally, there is a book by Maurice Bucaille, who wrote a book called, “The Quran, the Bible, and Science”, in which he subjects the Quran, the Bible, and Sahih Bukhari, to scientific analysis. He concluded that the Quran did not conflict with scientific facts in any of the 9 or so disciplines, but both the Hadith collection and the Bible contradicted scientific facts. I hope this information is useful.

In Mathematics, there is a theory known as ‘Theory of Probability’. If you have two options, out of which one is right, and one is wrong, the chances that you will choose the right one is half i.e. one out of the two will be correct. You have 50% chances of being correct, similarly if you toss a coin the chances that your guess will be correct is 50% (1 out of 2) i.e. 1⁄2. If you toss a coin the second time, the chances that you will be correct in the second toss is again 50% i.e. 1⁄2. But the chances that you will be correct in both the tosses is half x half ( 1⁄2 x 1⁄2 ) which is equal to 1⁄4. i.e. 50% of 50% i.e. equal to 25%. If you toss a coin the third time, chances that you will be correct all three times is ( 1⁄2 x 1⁄2 x 1⁄2 ) that is 1/8 or 50% of 50% of 50% that is 12.5%.
A dice has got six sides. If you throw a dice and guess any number between 1 and 6, the chances that your guess will be correct are 1/6. If you throw the dice the second time, the chances that your guess will be correct in both the throws is ( 1/6 x 1/6 ) which is equal to 1/36. If you throw the dice the third time, the chances that all your three guesses are correct is ( 1/6 x 1/6 x 1/6 ) is equal to 1/216 that is less than 1⁄2 a percent.
Let us apply this theory of probability to the Qur’an, and assume that a person has guessed all the information that is mentioned in the Qur’an, which was unknown at that time. Let us discuss the probability of all the guesses being correct.
At the time when the Qur’an was revealed, people thought the world was flat. There are several other options for the shape of the earth. It could be triangular; it could be quadrangular, pentagonal, hexagonal, heptagonal, octagonal, spherical, etc. Let’s assume there are about 30 different options for the shape of the earth. The Qur’an rightly says it is spherical, if it was a guess the chances of the guess being correct is 1/30.
The light of the moon can be its own light or a reflected light. The Qur’an rightly says it is a reflected light. If it was a guess, the chances that it will be correct is 1⁄2 and the probability that both the guesses i.e. the earth is spherical and the light of the moon is reflected light is 1/30 x 1⁄2 = 1/60. Further the Qur’an also mentions every living thing made up of water. The options are say about 10,000. Every living thing can be made up of either wood, stone, copper, aluminium, steel, silver, gold, oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, oil, water, cement, concrete etc. The Qur’an rightly says that every living thing is made up of water. Therefore if it’s a guess, the chances that it will be correct is 1/10,000 and the probability of all the three guesses i.e. earth is spherical, light of moon is reflected, every living thing is created from water being correct is 1/30 x 1⁄2 x 1/10,000 = 1/600,000 which is equal to about .00017%.
The Qur’an speaks about hundreds of things that were not known at that time. Only in three options the result is .00017%. I leave it up to you the intellectual audience to work out the probability if all the hundreds of the unknown facts were guesses, the chances of all the guesses being correct and not a single wrong. It is beyond human capacity to have all the guesses correct without a single mistake, which in itself is sufficient to prove to a logical person that the origin of the Qur’an is divine.

What is the probability that an all powerful supernatural being would reveal himself via an angel to an illiterate merchant? What is the probability that Adam and Eve were made from clay and human evolution as accepted by the vast majority of the scientific and the ‘intellectual audience’ is incorrect? What is the probability that early translations of the Quran states the moon is a light, ‘reflected’ has been added to later translations - maybe go and do some research?
What is the probability the moon was split in two?
What is the likelihood that devout people will interpret and manipulate their holy texts to suit their need for some form of evidence.
Now where does the sun set?..oh, it’s a metaphor/imagery/not to be taken literally....

      Assalam alaikum sister
This is just what every religion or sect wants the people to do "just belief without evidence or proofs".
This is why Islam is the only religion which differs in that matter.
Islam is not ONLY about belief. You gotta have proofs and reflect everything around you.
Christianity for example is mostly based on emotions and believes. Hinduism or Buddhism is completely based on believes and philosophy, but islam is easy and rational and logic.
What you mean is, let me give you an example: Allah forbids something and you have no clue or scientifical, medical or theological proof for it to ne bad. You still avoid it because you trust 100% on Allahs wisdom as he is the creator and the all knowing.
That are the aspects where you should believe and trust without evidence. The scientifical proofs for the truthfulness of quran and Muhammad (s.a.s.) are just confirmations for the disbelievers so that they might understand that islam is truth.
Islam isn't about just believe neither is it necessary to prove everything. There were enough powerful proofs anyway). Maybe science isn't ready yet to confirm everything from the knowledge in the quran and from the sunnah of Prophet pbuh.
All the current proofs from quran and sunnah took over hundreds of years to be proven by science. Science can never be as fast as the words of the allmighty.
Hope that answered the question even though there was no question :-D

The girl asks an interesting and very important question, which is how you can tell what is true and what is false. God, in the Quran argues that if the Quran had been from man rather than God, then there would be many inconsistencies in the Quran. There are also Hadiths which states that a Hadith that contradicts the Quran is a false Hadith.
This makes perfect sense. If God is the creator of the Quran and He promises to preserve it, then the text will be consistent, which is actually one of the miracles in Islam. It also confirms that text produced by man can be incorrect and false, and as such, Hadiths need to be checked against the Quran.
This principle is a very useful starting point to separate truth from false parts in a scripture.
The discussion here was about the true bits and false bits in the Bible. One clear way of doing this is by demonstrating inconsistencies in the Biblical scriptures, and these inconsistencies are not difficult to find nor is it surprising, as many humans have had a hand in the production and evolution of the Bible. The preface of some prints of the Bible actually confirms this, so there is no debate here.
The Quran may have some apparent inconsistencies, but in fact they are not inconsistencies, but rather inconsistencies in the interpretation of he verses. If one verse of the Holy Quran states that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was perfect and sinless, we can not then interpret another verse as saying that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) makes mistakes or commits sins.
This method of checking for consistencies within the text and also for checking Hadiths against the clear texts of the Quran, is very useful for gaining a proper and correct understanding of the Quranic text.

You should look into the Hindu belief of Brahmim. Where everything happens just because it can. Tell me do you tell your heart to beat? Do you know how to make your heart beat? Do you tell your stomach to disgest food? No it just happens. The realisation of we are all perspectives of the universe or energy and it is all just a game. If anything that is closer to what Omnipotent is than any other belief. You exist because you can exist. You do because you can. Words cannot explain what reality is because reality is this. To explain something in words is to make it complicated. When it just happens.

"Accidental" and "random" are incorrect premises. The young lady lacks the basis to counter Mohammed's sophistry. She should have closed that trap then and there. From the moment of her birth her purpose was to live until her death. Her subjectivity belongs to her alone. Those two factors cancel any type of "accidental" or "random". Yes Mohammed, you nailled it in your last sentence, "You can never get to the bottom of it because I don't think you can reach that sort of definitiveness (sic)." Metaphysics is just a load of hot air.

You know someone is scraping an empty barrel looking for justifications when he resorts to moral integrity attacks in a debate.

"Metaphysics is a load of hot air" is a metaphysical statement. Thanks for proving yourself wrong
