“I had to hate Pran, to compete against him, because of you? That’s the reason?” Ohm’s voice wavering as he says this, is just heartbreaking. Because he truly loves Pran and he’s disappointed that because of what his father did, it had to affect the way Pat and Pran’s saw each other. No one should teach a child to hate because of what they believe or do.
Sadly it happens we teach our children to hate. I'm an educational aide and I see it often kids hating because they say their parents told them it's okay to hate.
I think the last scene is especially special because this time instead of crying and walking away to hide his fears, Pran finally opened himself up completely and cried in Pat's arms.
Of course the last scene was very special but also the scene where pran's mom reveals the truth was touching....I cud literally hear the break in her voice when she was talking about her lost scholarship..very emotional scene!!!!
I actually cried with what Pran's mom said. Imagine having your scholarship and your whole future get ruined by what you call a friend. I could definitely feel for her at this.
Damn, when Pran just dove into Pat's arms in the roof, instantly I turned to mush and my eyes watered. It was like his relief that "his peace" came and he can finally feel safe to fully and finally break... Nanon and Ohm are really two of the best. Definitely added to my list and now tops my favorites.
The rooftop scene was so relatable.. I felt that Pat wanted to breakdown too but he chose to be strong for Pran and for their relationship.. the level of acting was superb!
They're the first LGBT relationship that reflect what I know ...... You can be top energy but be actually a real bottom and vice versa. This is the dynamics I know and not the stereotype that's often given. I loved every minute of Prans vulnerability and emotional outbursts while enjoying Pat taking charge of this part of their relationship and not judging his partner. Made me see how much my own relationship is awesome.
@Marven Carabbacan yeah you can watch the bts scene.. the director telling Ohm that do not cry, you are the strongest one here, you have to be strong as Ohm was fighting to not to cry. Also The Brilliant Nanon keep pouring himself even the director said cut. He was So into the emotion, after Director saying cut Ohm kiss him on his Head which was so sweet & Nanon Kept crying and crying. My poor Baby, Love him.
The fact that these boys are just 21 years old (20 when this is was shot) and yet portray such complex emotions so naturally!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Ohm and Nanon really out doing themselves every episode!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Edited the age since ppl loved it point out
True, they are a rare breed, very, very gifted ! And in general; I am truely amazed how well most of those Asiatic actors can act, even the little kids !
They are so specials! A hard story that they were forced to live, and discover that is All lies from prans father. He criyed on pats shoulders All the lies they lived. Was a hard scene definitelly
Some might find this to be anti-climatic but I think it was a whole lot better than the expected romance trope. Imagine having your whole education stolen by your best friend. Your ambitions, your goals, your possible achievements… Ah, that scene hurt…
I love that this series isn't about the struggles two people face when forming a relationship, but the strength the relationship gives them to face the struggles that life throws at them. Every episode has been golden.
This is one of the main reasons why I love "The Untamed" series. Just like Bad Buddy, their bond gives them strenght to move forward amist their challenges. The main leads are always there for one another and take care of each other like no one else.
"Is it my job to be responsible for your feelings" - Pran "But he can't fix his past, and I must be the one that takes it right?" - Pat This is so heartbreaking, like, from the start you as parents should not inflict the same feelings you have to others, more so to your child...
Intergenerational trauma at its finest, I'm actually really glad they're bringing up this topic because it's so normalized to inflict the same trauma onto your kids
@@yobro9087 It really is, as someone who comes from a family with generations of intergenerational trauma. It takes over your whole mindset, and you find yourself sacrificing your needs for your family
@@haelu1224 yeah. i get it. but no ones perfect. but its still so wrong. i rly dont like the idea of doing that. its just really depressing an sad, like, people like this, they actually exist. :\
Some people who discovered nanon recently should know this information... nanon is known in Industry as a legendary actor ...he won Thailand national award for best actor and also got nominee and won best actor in Asian academic award of 2021 for his gifted graduation project where he represent Thailand beside other asian country actors and won the award ..and this award one of the highest award category and also academic award is the highest award in Asia ..and he represented Thailand and won that category and every celeb in Thailand show respect to nanon as a great actor despite of nanon being young ...he is one of the greatest actors in Thailand right now
I could feel Pran so much in this episode. He was raised by conservative parents who never let him do anything, not even pursue his dreams in music, and now they want to take away Pran's most important thing, his love. "Why are you asking if you already know the answer?" Anyone who has conservative parents know this is the prohibted phrase. They will be mad at you because you're "not respecting them". "You raised me like this." This one hit so hard. My parents didn't raise me to respect them, they raised me to fear them and to follow their rules. Now, they demand respect even thought they never respected me. Being afraid of your own parents is the worst feeling ever, and I experience it daily. Pran experiences it too. I identify so much with him, it even hurts to acknowledge that.
I'm on the same boat with you :( it's so exhausting and draining to the point where I feel so much relief and peace when I'm away from them. I do sometimes feel guilty feeling that way but what can I do... I'm tired of being controlled my whole life.
@@svnouzI couldn't agree 🤧 with you literally me I couldn't even go anywhere alone because of fearing my parents and big brothers and sisters I always felt like I was trapped in a bubble that can't be busted that feeling is literally the worst 🥺
Pat: "But he can't fix his past, and I must be the one that takes it" I kiss the hands of the writer of this story 👏🏻. Although Pat and Pram found out the truth, it did not cause unnecessary damage to their relationship or a whole chapter of tears for them. I love it.
i was honestly really scared... I thought this was gonna separate them, or at least put in some distance between them. I’m so glad it didn’t, they are both broken but they still have each other... I hope everything gets solved between the families or at least they could seat down and talk it out instead of taking passive aggressive actions.
And I really love that they wanted to run away instead of breaking up. Like run away is only temporary solution. They have to settle their mind and feelings first before going back. If I were them I will also run away because the feelings right now is confusing and going back home is not yet good idea. Sometimes, we need to escape in order to settle yourself even in short time only.
Let's talk about the small yet VERY SIGNIFICANT Details: That moment when Pran Paused for a Bit before finally Answering his Mother.. it's a reflection of how Pat's bravery and courage at the Mall Confrontation inspired and enabled Pran to do the same! It's just perfect how the couple balanced each other 🥺 Since Pran already broke down at the Rooftop, Pat has to hold his own emotions to be strong for the both of them.
Yeah very true!! Very excellent acting and balance of emotions between Pat and Pran. I never been touch, impressed and cried in a series. Only Bad Buddy and OhmNanon touch my heart like this.. and the superb director P'Aof who made every scene wonderful. Superb!!!
6:59 "because you raised me this way i am not like other kids" this confirms how insecure pran has been all his life having to compete in everything with Pat and how his parents had been so strict all his life that he couldn't make many friends and they also forbid him from playing music which was his source of finding peace
@@tabzoiro9427 I think by now, we know Pat doesn’t want to hide anything. If this is the turning point to be brave and honest with their parents, then so be it (but I didn’t like how Pat announced it to his parents in front of strangers because he was angry and wanted to spite his dad. Pran wasn’t ready for that!! Not like this). The boys are tired and frustrated with all the secrets. The boys now have each other to lean on to share the outcome together. They are beyond the “you can’t talk to him or you have to avoid him” that their parents brainwashed them with. This was just a great episode! I loved it🙌🏼
Now I finally get Pran's mom's actions and especially why she transferred Pran out of school, it wasn't really about Pat but about the fact that he was raised by Ming. She was afraid that if Ming raised his son in the same way he was raised that Pat would end up betraying Pran the same way she was betrayed that why the second she found out that the two had gotten close she immediately separated Pran from Pat because all she could see was Ming's son and she didn't want her son's future to get stollen away from him like the way that hers was. In her mind she was protecting her son ( though in a very toxic way ) from the inevitable betrayal that she felt could only erupt from their friendship because of the trauma she went through with Pat's dad.
Yeah.. understandable.. she wants to protect her child.. but Pran came hurt cause Pat father hurt him.. and took his pain with his mother.. poor child.. i like her mother, confronting that piece of a men.. 😠
and even tho she was protecting him... but that was so toxic... i mean she could've told her son the actual truth ( he had all rights to know why he was stopped from getting close to pat) but nah she decided to lie, i dont know for what??
Nanon’s sobbing at the end, and Ohm’s reaction, are exactly how they behaved in real life on stage at the fan meeting a few months ago. It shows how deeply they immerse themselves in their acting. (And of course the events at the meeting show how deeply they feel about each other.)
Pat is the best boyfriend in the BL's I've ever watched till date. He belives in communicating when things go wrong, tried to understand his partner, gives his partner the space when's asked for, cares and shows how much he love his partner no matter who the person is and what the circumstances are. He never once let Pran face things alone. Also he comforted Pran, when even he was in so much pain. He is the walking green flag . And Ohm is best actor who could bring this character into life. No one I repeat no one could have been Pat apart from Ohm.
I so agree. Pat is just literally love. Like hes the sweetest and most amazing partner anyine could ever ask for. And even Pran, he too is a sweetheart
Im just so relieved that their parents’ spat are not your typical failed love backstory but a broken friendship from betrayal. I think that its a very potent reason of why they hate each other because honestly, its more heartbreaking when someone you trust blatantly tries to destroy your future and betrays your friendship. OhmNanon’s performance just makes it more heart wrenching. This series is pure gold.
yes! it's so much deeper than just bitter feelings towards an ex, it's this really complicated trauma about socioeconomic factors. her actions are very understandable, it makes sense that she would think their friendship was a legitimate and direct threat to her son's wellbeing + potential, so she made him transfer. Because it was right at that critical moment too, right, the last couple years of school trying to get into university. such good drama
agreed!!.. it was all super realistic.. this drama is honestly so well written, so well produced just everything about it is so nice. I wouldn't change anything about it
I admire Nanon's creation of the Pran character in the whole series, but in this episode - he totally nailed it. The way he said "we're not friends", the way he looked at his mother, the way he let all the emotions loose with Pat... That's an Oscar from me.
When the series started I though “OK this is fun” after a few episodes I was like “is this potentially becoming the best of 2021?” Now I’m definitely sure this series isn’t lacking on anything. I’m like ok finally, here we have good writing, good acting, it’s fun, sweet, entertaining and every character shines by him/herself. The plot is evolving and I’m here for it. Bad Buddy has the right amount of everything. Very well done 11/10
I literally like the way P’Aof wanted to tell us that Pran pretended to be strong in front of his mum, but after, on rooftop, Pran cried in Pat’s arms. Likewise, Pat is a reliable person and comfort zone of Pran.
He didn't pretend to be strong, he was. Being strong doesn't mean to not cry. In my opinion, the strongest people are those who can cry. He was strong when he needed to be, then when he was in his safe place (Pat) he let himself live through all his emotions. Knowing you have a safe place, you have people that loves you no matter what, that they'll be there for you when you are in need, that you can be all of yourself without fear of being judged, that gives you the force to be strong when you need to be. I absolutely love that Pran is not afraid to show his emotions to Pat and that his character is not depicted as the 'weak one' because of that. That serie is such a breath of fresh air, so much romantic relationships in medias (bl or otherwise) are unhealthy. We need to see more heatlhy relationships. Sorry, I went on a tangent there.
after rewatching this series more than ten times, I still can't get over how emotional it was when Pat hugged Pran and they cried together. so sweet so heartbreaking
Bad Buddy is a whole cultural reset. PatPran's relationship is so healthy. They communicate! They actually communicate! Since they have gotten together, they have not broken up once. Instead, all the obstacles have only made their bond stronger and I'm so here for it. I did not have high expectations for this show but it has outdone itself and every other show. The acting is 10/10, the who crew and everything is 10/10. The script is so well written and the storyline is so mature. No evil female characters. No cursed episode 11. No unnecessary drawn-out fights. No cliche tropes like 'wife' or 'I don't like men I only like xxx' and the list goes on. This has proven that even that a Romantic Comedy can be well executed. A series doesn't have to be dark or a drama to be top quality. Bad Buddy is literally a breath of fresh air. This show has literally changed the game. Also, InkPa is sailing! We have been ready and waiting for a proper GL. Let's give our girls their own show.
How sure are you that ep 11 won't end up being cursed?? Lol. I mean, the families still hate each other and there hasn't been any resolution to the conflicts yet. Pat and Pran basically just ran away but they'll still have to deal with the whole mess when they return... If they return.. Personally I don't think I'd return for a long time. I'd want my family to feel the pain of losing me simply for their selfish reasons.
@@myfairytalelife3 the reason why ep 11 is called the cursed episode is not because of inevitable conflict but because the couple always breaks up and then we get a whole sad montage of them being depressed and crying and missing each other instead of actually communicating their feelings. The fact that PatPran communicates means that we won't have to suffer through the tropes and be depressed along with them.
The contrast in the way they feel is so noticeable. Pran is crying because of first of all relief that’s all over and cause they suffered so much because of things that they didn’t cause and that they could’ve avoided. And Pat is just mad.
i love how pat wasn't even planning to tell his parents anything at all but the moment pran's hurt he suddenly got all the courage in the world gosh i love their love
That’s Pat .....Pran is his to0 priority and he need to see with his own eyes that Pran is ok like after meeting in hospital....even before bf he was like that he need Pran to be ok that instinct in him
This truth between the two parents is an amazing plot point. Not only does it not rely on a broken heart romance trope but it also speaks to a deep issue of privilege between men and women. She needed that scholarship to give herself a future that does not rely on having a husband to get her the comforts she could have gotten herself. She was obviously very smart and had a scientific mind based on what they told us. But a man beat her out of the scholarship. A man being the traditional scientist. A woman that was forced to give up her education and the people offering the scholarship didn't think twice about hearing him say it. They found it normal for a woman not to pursue an education so they didn't even bother to check with her. His dad is deplorable. To force a feud on his children to carry that pain into their generation and strip them of a life they could have made themselves. This plot point hurts more than anything I've experienced in a boy-love drama. this truly is one of my favorites.
yep happy sombody else noticed it, this topic of male entitlement and man hoarding oportunity depsite having it easier on every turn is rarly touched. He exploited vicious cycle of "this is wasted on a woman" . Same goes for movie funding or awards, a lot of time female filmmakers succed given chance but they also get much less money and chance than man. Same goes for sport coverage and all kind of award to women, they are definetly not having same chance and young girls dont see succesful women so they dont pursue these careers.
“Can I kiss you?” THIS. Even though they’re already together, the fact Pat still asks to kiss Pran is just something so sweet and pure. This is seriously one of the healthiest couples I’ve ever seen being portrayed in media and I hope other shows, not just BLs, look to bad buddy for inspiration in terms of showing healthy couple dynamics
@@invinciblecucumber It doesn't have to be spoken, but it's still a healthy relationship practice to make sure there's consent, even if it's just given from the eyes.
The actress who played Pran's mom did a good job this episode. I could feel the betrayal when she was on screen. And Pran crying at the end broke me. Absolutely.
I’m LIVING for how non-formulaic this show is. Just the fact that Pat and Pran didn’t break up says so much about the people involved in creating this masterpiece. They’ve given us everything we wanted and more. Even Ink and Pa stopped dancing around each other! Thank you, P’Aof, Nanon, Ohm, Love, Milk, and everyone else who had a part in the making of Bad Buddy! We sincerely appreciate you! 💕
I completely agree. We need characters that know how to celebrate love rather than listening to what other people think and experiencing fear and shame on other people's behalf.
Absolutely! It's so refreshing to see things play out how they actually would if two people in a committed relationship were dealing with something like this together. Loved every moment
not only lgbtq dramas but in this life there are causes and effects that we don't know from the past. and the director can really turn the bad buddy drama into a complex story, plus the chemistry from ohm and nanon... good job!!
The fact that in previous scene Pran actually stood up against Pat's father to protect Pat and now he was holding himself together his very best until Pat arrives and immediately all those fronts collapse as Pat holds him just speak VOLUME. That is what a good relationship should be. You give, and you take, equally.
all I can say is that Pran pouring his heart out to Pat's shoulder and comfort is the most painful yet majestic scene I've ever watched in BL like I don't just see Pran and Pat, I see Nanon and Ohm.
I do really want to point out how great is Pat's Mom acting skills. She's torn between who to look out for, both her Son and husband is broken. And there she is, showing us her small part but really important, because it shows that she doesn't have bias and her goal is to give them both a space to think about the situation first. What a great series!!!
It hurt so much when Pran said "... thats why im not like the other kids". It's like he is ashamed of who he is and how he grew up to be :( And Ohm/Pat killed it with the confrontation with his dad after the truth is out. The way his voice broke, the way the tears welled up, the way he walked out of his mum, the way he held and comforted Pran despite having just found out the lies behind the most respected figure that he has been chasing after all his life..
I think because most of this series is so lighthearted, funny, progressive and proud, it's easier to forget what these kids went through their whole lives. I understand growing up in a house where you're scared of a family member, where you can't be honest, where there's secrets, and it's utter shit and the trauma can stay with you for years. Pran's outburst of emotion after a lifetime of suppression is just... it's beautiful. Cathartic and painful and so beautifully shown. And to see all this expressed when in his safe place.... my heart.
He always have that kind of voice whenever he make drama scene, especially in He’s coming to me the series and Dew the movie 🥺🥺 his tone makes you cry more 😭😭😭
I will not be surprized if this series gets a lot of awards soon and Ohm and Nanon for Another Best acting award. Best BL ever I may say! Those two rooftop scenes made me cry... First, the kissing and now the comforting scene. Fantastic duo!
That rooftop is one of my fave PatPran places.. 1.finding out they are low flirting with each other the first time.. 2. Confession and 1st kiss... 3. Another confirmation for the bet (where Pat technically loses) and now comforting each other for the truth from their parents..
It’s the way Pran holds on to him like he’s his only lifeline and Pat holds him steady while looking like he’d burn the whole city to the ground for him. That’s what it is for me.
Pran is pat world And pat is pran world At back they scary and choice backstreet, but than they be brave and holding hand eachother.. they like ready move on on the past they have.. All the series i watch i dont know But pat and pran its the most healthy relationship i like .❤
Underrated scene: When Pat's dad walk out on him, he went to the sofa to sit and his mother calming him down but instead he answered his mother with (11:31) "But he can't fix his past and I must be the one that takes it right? Ma!!" Ohm's sarcastic and frustrated portrayal through his facial expressions and voice is so on point. Every child engaged in a frustrating argument against parents know that even once in your life that's how you really acted. And honestly that's the equivalent of Pran's (6:24) "Is it even my job to be responsible for your feelings?" 👏👏
I don't have enough words to express how incredible this series is. The only thing I can say right now is Thank you, I just wanna thank everybody who is involved in this, a real masterpiece.
The ending scene got me bawling. The way Pran ran right into Pat’s arms the moment he saw him, and how Pat consoled Pran even when he was most probably feeling worse at the time, especially after being told the truth about his dad. The acting, the emotion, everything was amazing. This whole series itself is a masterpiece. Looking forward to more OhmNanon’s future projects together.
This series is everything a lot of us couldn’t have wished for. Phenomenal actors (OF COURSE ESPECIALLY OHM AND NANON) amazing director hats off to p’aof. We’re so blessed to be able to witness this masterpiece. It’s not even the end but I already want to say thousand thanks to every person who are involved in BBS for this amazing masterpiece. WOW, just WOW. GMMTV blessed us with a true gay love story, and what one! And Ohm and Nanon are P H E N O M E N A L! Best BL show and actors ever! What a blast!
NANON'S EYES WHEN HE WAS CONFRONTING HIS MOM . I WAS SHOCKED AT HIS EXPRESSION AND HIS EYES SHOWING ALL HIS EMOTIONS . HIS ACTING THERE WAS BRILLIANT . Also love when Pat was brave enough and confessed they were boyfriends, Ohm did amazing there I could feel the fear when his dad saw him and how he was brave to protect Pram . The last scene broke my heart , literally crying right now . You can see how Pran can't hold anymore the pain of what he knew it was coming and Pat trying to be strong for Pran . Also the Mom's acting and how surprised I was when the true was revealed . The script and director were like you expect a love story nahhh nahhh take a scholarship story instead lol !! That's how they played with our minds . OMG this series is a rollercoaster of emotions . 👏👏 EACH EPISODE GETS BETTER AND BETTER SUCH A MASTERPIECE
Bad Buddy is a piece of art. It doesn't matter if it's an LGBTQ+-themed drama, same sex couples dramas also deserve the same love straight couples dramas get. The story, the acting, emotions, directions, everything is on point. Hats off to BBS Team.
what do you mean by "it doesn't matter if its an lgbtq+ themed drama"? as if lgbtq+ series aren't usually good? (no hate you the way, I'm just dumb and curious)
@@prishyasurentharan8773 I think they meant that this series isn't focusing on the fact that they're both guys, but is just telling the story like it's the normal love story it is.
The moment I saw Ohm's tears at 13:24 . I cried too. Not just because of the scene, But as an avid fan of Ohm. All the hardship Ohm experienced when he was starting his acting career flashed back to me. I am happy that he is with GMMTV now. The management handled his career very well. Unlike his MIR days. So proud of you Ohm. Will always be a fan...
Honestly, from all the BLs I've watched this is the only one they didn't break off the relationship and I'm so happy for it. It just shows that they both have a healthy relationship, where they equally care for each other and put equal amount of effort to keep their relationship. It shows that they love each other because they are ready to fight for each other. They won't let go easily.
this is how relationships should be, stood up for each other and fight for their love eventho the whole world is against their will. great story, great actors, great execution, hats off to BBS team❤️
Can we just talk about the incredible amount of trust OhmNanon have for each other as actors though? To know that whatever one brings to a scene the other will not only receive but elevate is just masterful. Like, we KNEW, we FELT why it had to be Ohm and Nanon for this series but episode after episode they just continue to rise and surpass all expectation. And they’re both only 21?!
This episode is a masterpiece!! Well-acted from every actors. Nanon reactions is so on point and so so good. I can repeat this 1000x still be impressed by the emotional roller coaster. Nanon n ohm rooftop breakdown scene is legit the best scene in these entire series. ‘Because you raised me like this; I’m not like other kid” is so heartbreaking to hear :((
I love it when Pat let Pran sob at his shoulder even though he's also equally hurt at the situation. Pat is a person who shows so much emotion while Pran isn't so seeing his boyfriend cry, he held back his own tears and let Pran cry all out what he's bottling the past years. Pat can also bawl and let his feelings out but he held and pat Pran's head to comfort him just to make him feel alright. So caring Faen. 😢❣️ I just want a relationship like these two.
Who ever is responsible for choosing the casting for the show needs to be given a raise. What a excellent cast. Each one of them justified their character well. This series definitely set a raise on bl series. I don't think I can go back to bad acting or cringe plot line after this.
@@magicchirp1714 The director said that after he finished reading the novel, the actors would be ohm and nanon, and the director wrote the script based on their friendship in reality - Google translate
Ohm is such an underrated actor. The first time I saw him act was in He’s Coming To Me where I cried a lot. Years after, we can see a ton of improvements! Nanon has been really excellent both in singing and acting. I’m just so proud of them! My sentimental favorite BL couples and actors.
The final scene are perfectly executed, well connected, overwhelming chemistry, their emotions are real. I love how Pat comforted Pran, it really struck my heart. to be honest my tears accumulated to the point im asking why am i crying... congrats on episode 10 😭😭😭
I feel like it's referring to the first kiss scene, the way pran was crying then too and walked away because he knew this all would be rough and now when it's all in the open even there is lot of mess he is relieved as well like he was then knowing pat actually likes him
Every episode I will say this, but seriously Nanon and Ohm’s acting is AMAZING. They convey emotions so well and it all looks so natural. In the scenes where they go against their parents their emotions look so raw and they convey the hurt and pain of Pat and Pran so well. Serious props to these two ❤️
IKR Literally every 2 secs i had to pause and applaud their acting. Its so natural with those 2. Every scene with them flows so smoothly i forget they are acting.
This episode was so painful to watch :( they portrayed their characters so well. Bad Buddy series literally set the bar SO HIGH I'm afraid nothing can come close to it. Ohm and Nanon's acting are just phenomenal. There are unique elements incorporated in this series so even if the plot is cliché, with P'aof as the director, as well as OhmNanon's acting, the cinematography, the soundtracks, and the transition of scenes, they took this series on another level and made it memorable. All the casts did so well in their roles and they did it really effectively. PatPran's chemistry and character development is awesome, I can't wait to see more of them.
The rooftop scene, once again, never failed to impress me. It portrays the irony of two characters in this scene. Pat, usually cheeky, clumsy, and immature, is very calm in comforting Pran. On the other hand, Pran, generally composed and organised, appears vulnerable and cries his eyes out. As an audience, I was moved by the feelings portrayed by both characters.
i agree... they make me cry... i could feel their emotions... with the first kiss... i almost died screaming like a dying seal 🤭🤭🙈... and in this episode, i felt my heart broke
Nanon is the best crier I have seen in my life. He was so pretty and portrayed Pran's vulnerability so well. I will never forget this scene. And in the beginning of that terrace scene I saw Nanon's young self. It was his 13-14 yrs old face 🥺❤
My comment echos everything everyone has said about this series and the mastery of Ohm and Nanon. These boys are absolutely brilliant. They tell this story so well. Gosh, this isn't just about them being in a BL series, this is them showing that they can tell any story. I am super proud of them. Can't wait for next week.
I'm just amazed at how Pat is so balanced even thou he is the one who is more devastated by his father's past. He stood there for Pran being all strong when he himself is crying... Just give Ohm his Oscars.. Omg Nanon taking this series into whole new level with his legendary acting. One of the finest drama in this era.
despite the toxicity they lived in, pat and pran still managed to form the healthiest relationship i have ever seen. THIS is what we want to see on our screens. shout out to the entire crew that helped make this beautiful piece of artistry.
I love how this show is so divergent and at the same time, defying so many bl tropes. It is purely a work of art. The storytelling, the directorship, the acting and the whole cast is A1. Bad Buddy is the new yardstick for others to follow. It can be clearly seen how much effort and dedication the whole team and the actors, especially Ohm and Nanon have put in to make this show a paragon. I would like to thank GMMTV & P'Aof for bringing this story to life, and to Ohm and Nanon, thank you for portraying these characters as if your lives depended on it. Y'all are doing great. Lots of love, 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿-𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲 ! 𝗦𝘂 𝘀𝘂 !
Can I just say how incredibly refreshing it is, that they didn’t end with fighting with each other and breaking things off with one another like they usually do? That speaks VOLUMES on how healthy and incredibly strong Pat and Pran’s relationship is. despite having a relationship in a situation that puts so much pressure on them to buckle down and give in to what their parents want but they didn’t. They did the opposite and stood up for their love the moment they were confronted. They stood strong, consoled each other and were THERE for each other. And that is such a breath of fresh air. Their relationship throughout this whole season has been nothing but being there for each other through every single situation, being brave in sticking up for their love and FINDING A WAY to make their relationship work. And that to me is what makes this series truly impeccable. Bravo to both Nanon and Ohm for being incredible with conveying their feelings so rawly and to the director for directing an incredible script. I have seen probably every BL and this is by far, at the very top of my list.
@@btigah EXACTLY. I feel like in most BL’s they let the hard situation get to them and dictate how they feel and they always end up finding a way to take it out on one another. Instead of being strong together and working through it 👏🏻
this whole scene that started at 12:43, screams "HE FEELS LIKE HOME" and also the way that pran hugs pat and the way that pat comforts pran by combing the back of his hair😭, like it's not a big deal to others but the comforting feeling that it gives to someone that needs it, hits so different😭
This series is just God tier. It's not that complex but neither boring. It's cute and I love that the friends are supportive. Ohm's and Nanon's chemistry is literally unbelievable. Can't wait for next week's episode. ♥️
I'm really loving the way that this series is taking. PatPran's relationship is healthy, there's no misunderstanding between them, they talk when something is going wrong, or even if not, they actually talk about their thoughts and feelings. This is the relationship that everyone wants. And I have to say, the acting is so good, I think all the actors are really good, but Nanon's acting is so beautiful and actually I feel blessed when I see him; and I also have to say that Ohm is such a good actor, he can express with his eyes and it's beautiful when you see his eyes. I don't want that this series end. It's the kind of serie that we needed; show that LGBT community is not that cliche that most of us know from different series of this genre. I love it
But that's the actual problem, isn't it? That BL is labeled as a genre. The entertainment industry still cannot acknowledge that there is no difference between heterosexual and homosexual romance. If BL is a genre, does it mean that "heterosexual love" is also a genre? This does not make sense, but it just proves that society is still too far away from that. Hopefully one day this will be solved as well and become part of our past.
Goshh! That last scene! Pran's sobbing is so heartwrenching but at the same time Pat's silent tears just got to me so hard! The level of emotional maturity shown here is commendable. I legit can't with how good these two are!
I love how they ended today's episode with Pat nad Pran comforting each other. It's just so nice to have someone who will give you warmth and comfort after having a tiring day. And kudos to Ohm and Nanon who made the scene so magical. Their actings are seriously top notch. You can really feel the emotions through the screen and damn, they act through theur eyes too!! There's only 2 ep left. But I'm hoping for a season. Better another series starring OhmNanon!!
This is beyond art, this is masterpiece. Everything about this series is a masterpiece. The acting, plot, emotions, dialogues, everything is superb. I can't express how amazed I am to the whole crew, from the writer up to the actors 😭❤️.
Pran’s mom has all the right to get mad. Imagine someone stealing your future then in the end didn’t use it well. This series seriously need an award. The acting is so in point. All the actors are superb. The only BL series that I commented.
Ohm’s voice breaking when he said “…because of you” and the look of pain in his eyes and face deserves a standing ovation!! That acting was ✨IMMACULATE✨.
Let me take my time appreciating the actress who play the role of Pran's mother. She deeply conveys what a mother feel. Even the supporting role like her doesn't have any error. Bad Buddy best series indeed
She is the best(now that i know her reason). holding to it until the end.. but it also make me think why would she still stay in the same neighborhood when she was betrayed that way by her friend?) -- maybe she still wants reconciliation and closure to that hurt? She may partly understood Ming but was truly hurt... (like Pran's line "it was anger not hatred")
@@mariafernando9871 yeah. At first I thought, they both were forced to break up by parents or broke up cuz of misunderstanding. So they managed to live next door, wanting to check what their rival is doing. But i was wrong lol
Bad Buddy is a masterpiece. I've never cried over a show. Ohm and Nanon and the whole cast have done such a fantastic job. When Ohm confronted his Dad and had tears well up in his eyes, oh god it was so natural and I'm still crying while typing this. This show has my entire heart. Thank you p'aof for this amazing show.
Pat comforting Pran in the rooftop even though he's the one who's informed about their family's story and should be crying like Pran but didn't 'coz Pran needs him that time is just the best scene ever. y'all can't stop me informing everyone that this IS MOST REALISTIC BL EVER!!!! AND THIS TWO, I JUST LOVE HOW THEY ACT. ✨ I AM MORE THAN AMAZED ✨
Ohm and Nanon is the best couple in GMMTV history... because they portrayed Pat and Parn character isn't easy to play and the emotions they poured in are unbeatable.... Bad Buddy is now number 1 series in GMMTV for ME..💜
I agree with you to a certain point. They are the best in the roles they are playing, but there are many other actors at GMMTV who are just as good or better.
Some moments he hides his talent in silly throw away scenes, light hearted and good, and then BLAM!!!!! He lets his talent blaze like the sun! It's a phenomenal shift.
The rooftop scene where Pran cried and how Pat held the emotions in. I cried my eyes out. I could feel every emotion they felt as well. Their acting of phenomenal where you feel angry, happy, or sad with them. Incredible. I even came back to rewatch it’s that damn good
I'm glad the director took his time with the rooftop scene. Enough to let all their feelings sinks in us and to digest what happened, because everything escalated quickly and those tears were years of bottle up emotions. Once again the rooftop was a masterpiece: The acting, the directing and the music came together to create something as beautifully comforting as painfully suffocating.
Also I appreciate the fact that the reason behind the families feud was a very real and valid one. A mistake, a bad decision was made that deeply affected someone else's future. I found it really weird that many fans were expecting that the feud was because a failed romance between the fathers. I mean what made them think about that?! lol I think it's one of the bl drama tropes that Bad Buddy reversed. The plot isn't overly dramatic, it's as realistic as it can be for its genre. Even though I understand Pran's mother, the way she interfered in her son's life was still wrong. I would love to see Ming's view, too. During this episode the actor had showed us many soft and sad expressions, I think he has regretted it but he still hasn't done anything about it. Actually he made it worse because of his guilty conscience. Maybe he didn't want Pat and Pran getting close as to keep what he did a secret. Anyway, I guess we'll have to see. A huge applause to Ohm and Nanon. Excellent performance, I love the way their eyes comunicate so many feelings. And an even huger applause to whoever made the music choices for the whole series. The background music complimented the rooftop hug scene in the most beautifully comforting and cathartic way. It added emotional depth, but at the same time it lifted a bit of the emotional weight that fell upon the main couple.
I love how realistic it is that Pat's dad would hold a grudge against the other family because he's ashamed of his own behavior. Some small part of me is hoping that he was also motivated by wanting to protect his son, because he was afraid Pran would be coached to get revenge, so he wanted Pat to always be better so that Pran would not be able to take anything away from him the way he did from Pran's mom. It was wrong-headed either way but I hope he was thinking about his son's feelings even a little bit.
this comment should be at the top with much more likes. everyone be praising the cast, the acting, but the plot and storyline deserve a praise too. applause for the screenwriter!! 👏🏻👏🏻 everyone be guessing pat’s dad and pran’s mom used to have an affair but tbh i am not expecting the root problem was stolen scholarship, wow, just wow. it makes bigger issue than only love affair but morals and value of each family keep and believe.
@@adhara9687 Aww thanks for saying so! I totally agree, the screenwriting has been exceptional and it has made a massive difference that this series is less predictable and not just about love, it makes it way more fun to watch and more relatable for a wider group of people too.
I agree with your insight. I think Pat's dad is afraid of karma so he pushed Pat to the best so, as you said, Pran's mom would not get her revenge. Humans are so complicated.. Sometimes even after knowing that we are the one who did wrong, we still try to lash out even more instead of apologizing.
When we all thought it’s about a high school fling that didn’t work between their parents; just to realise it’s something bordering friendship and betrayal. Splendidly done story line.
Exactly! I half expected that reveal to be cliché and about them being together and breaking up. But instead of the heteronormative route, it revolves around other things than romance.
Just finished MSP ep 6 and I had the urge to go and rewatch the hug scene of this episode Such an emotional scene, probably one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking ones I've seen and that one tear falling down Pat's cheek as he tries to distract himself from crying, by embracing Pran, but then breaking in tears, beautiful.
“I had to hate Pran, to compete against him, because of you? That’s the reason?”
Ohm’s voice wavering as he says this, is just heartbreaking. Because he truly loves Pran and he’s disappointed that because of what his father did, it had to affect the way Pat and Pran’s saw each other. No one should teach a child to hate because of what they believe or do.
Agree 👍
This is true । We must not suppress our child's voice and opinion ।
Sadly it happens we teach our children to hate. I'm an educational aide and I see it often kids hating because they say their parents told them it's okay to hate.
I think the last scene is especially special because this time instead of crying and walking away to hide his fears, Pran finally opened himself up completely and cried in Pat's arms.
THANKS YOU FOR WRITING THE WORDS THAT WERE IN MY HEAD FOR SO LONG 😫🤍

Of course the last scene was very special but also the scene where pran's mom reveals the truth was touching....I cud literally hear the break in her voice when she was talking about her lost scholarship..very emotional scene!!!!

Definitely added to my list and now tops my favorites.

Everyone's talking about Ohm and Nanon acting, but Pran's Mom scene when she confronted Pat's Dad was brilliant as well!

I like it how Pran's mom acted in that scene. Big THUMBS UP for her 👍
SHE WAS SO GOOD!
She delivered !

The rooftop scene was so relatable.. I felt that Pat wanted to breakdown too but he chose to be strong for Pran and for their relationship.. the level of acting was superb!
Yeah... He's such a great lover...i need Pat in my life...🥲
You said it remarkable 💯
Yeah but pran was guilty for what he said to his mom that’s why he’s so emotional cause he didn’t know his mom was also a victim.
The fact that these boys are just 21 years old (20 when this is was shot) and yet portray such complex emotions so naturally!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ohm and Nanon really out doing themselves every episode!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Wow! That is why, his acting is exceptional and outstanding. I don’t know how he can trade his soul to the character.
Oh no, I'm hugging you so much 😢
Sending positive energy!

I kiss the hands of the writer of this story 👏🏻.
Well said... Same feeling...
Yeah very true!! Very excellent acting and balance of emotions between Pat and Pran. I never been touch, impressed and cried in a series. Only Bad Buddy and OhmNanon touch my heart like this.. and the superb director P'Aof who made every scene wonderful. Superb!!!
ur so smart for this
6:59 "because you raised me this way i am not like other kids" this confirms how insecure pran has been all his life having to compete in everything with Pat and how his parents had been so strict all his life that he couldn't make many friends and they also forbid him from playing music which was his source of finding peace
Nanon's eyes are just magical......
and Ohm's acting on Pat containing his pain just to stay strong for Pran is phenomenal...
“We are boyfriends. Hear that?”
You can see in Pat’s eyes the determination to fight for his and Pran’s relationship. He truly loves Pran so much 🥺❤️
SUPERRR
The healthiest relationship ever
They both were. Pran said the same to his mom.
I think he just got pissed at his dad pushing pran. Damn...this series will finish me!
I cried more reading this
💯💯💯
This is well said👏👏👏
Yeah.. understandable.. she wants to protect her child.. but Pran came hurt cause Pat father hurt him.. and took his pain with his mother.. poor child.. i like her mother, confronting that piece of a men.. 😠
and even tho she was protecting him... but that was so toxic... i mean she could've told her son the actual truth ( he had all rights to know why he was stopped from getting close to pat) but nah she decided to lie, i dont know for what??

Very well said 👏🏾
yep happy sombody else noticed it, this topic of male entitlement and man hoarding oportunity depsite having it easier on every turn is rarly touched.

Damn so true.......
So true 💚
all I can say is that Pran pouring his heart out to Pat's shoulder and comfort is the most painful yet majestic scene I've ever watched in BL like I don't just see Pran and Pat, I see Nanon and Ohm.
NANNON’S ACTING IS TOP TIER !! THE FACE EXPRESSIONS THE WAY HE CRIES HE MAKES ME CRY TOO IT JUST BLOWS MY MIND
Exactly my thoughts 😭❤

And to see all this expressed when in his safe place.... my heart.
"I had to hate Pran, to compete against him, because of you? That's the reason?" ohm's voice wavering makes this line 10x painful
his voice crack make me choke everytime a watch
He always have that kind of voice whenever he make drama scene, especially in He’s coming to me the series and Dew the movie 🥺🥺 his tone makes you cry more 😭😭😭

OHM I FELT IT IM IN PAIN
Pran is pat world
And pat is pran world
At back they scary and choice backstreet, but than they be brave and holding hand eachother.. they like ready move on on the past they have..
All the series i watch i dont know
But pat and pran its the most healthy relationship i like .❤
Underrated scene:
When Pat's dad walk out on him, he went to the sofa to sit and his mother calming him down but instead he answered his mother with (11:31) "But he can't fix his past and I must be the one that takes it right? Ma!!" Ohm's sarcastic and frustrated portrayal through his facial expressions and voice is so on point. Every child engaged in a frustrating argument against parents know that even once in your life that's how you really acted. And honestly that's the equivalent of Pran's (6:24) "Is it even my job to be responsible for your feelings?"
👏👏
I don't have enough words to express how incredible this series is. The only thing I can say right now is Thank you, I just wanna thank everybody who is involved in this, a real masterpiece.
The ending scene got me bawling. The way Pran ran right into Pat’s arms the moment he saw him, and how Pat consoled Pran even when he was most probably feeling worse at the time, especially after being told the truth about his dad. The acting, the emotion, everything was amazing. This whole series itself is a masterpiece. Looking forward to more OhmNanon’s future projects together.

Nanon and Ohm's chemistry in Bad buddy series will go down history. Every episodes I watch I crave even more for them.I love them so much❤❤🏳️🌈
Who ever is responsible for choosing the casting for the show needs to be given a raise. What a excellent cast. Each one of them justified their character well. This series definitely set a raise on bl series. I don't think I can go back to bad acting or cringe plot line after this.

^^
The rooftop scene, once again, never failed to impress me. It portrays the irony of two characters in this scene. Pat, usually cheeky, clumsy, and immature, is very calm in comforting Pran. On the other hand, Pran, generally composed and organised, appears vulnerable and cries his eyes out. As an audience, I was moved by the feelings portrayed by both characters.
Yes!!!!
Great description!

A big round of applause for the actress who plays as Pran's mom. Her acting is so superb
Wait for next you will know how they 😭😭😭😭

I just love how every time people accidentally see them flirting, Pat just directly tells them they are dating! He’s so brave!
His father push Pran so he ignited his anger

YES and the way the tears just started welling up after he said that. Gosh brought tears to my eyes as well
Let me take my time appreciating the actress who play the role of Pran's mother.

Yes i agree too one off the best story and one off the best couple or best friends
Same goes to me 😊 they just set the bar too high na
Pat's face when he says " I had to hate Pran, to compete against him, because of you" absolutely breaks heart Ohm is such a good actor
Right??? His acting in that whole scene was on point
It broke my heart when he said that.
such a beautiful and sad scene. one of my favourites so far.
YEEEESSSS, that's when i teared up 😭
Some moments he hides his talent in silly throw away scenes, light hearted and good, and then BLAM!!!!!
Well said, true indeed. Agreed 100%
everyone be guessing pat’s dad and pran’s mom used to have an affair but tbh i am not expecting the root problem was stolen scholarship, wow, just wow. it makes bigger issue than only love affair but morals and value of each family keep and believe.
Splendidly done story line.
a very mature and refreshing storyline indeed
