David, I sincerely appreciate how you been guiding and helping us prepare for the CCNP ENCOR exam. You have made a profound impact on my life and professional development.
It seems like the RESTful APIs are much more easier than traditional CLI in case of multiple devices. Waiting for the next video. Hope you will show us how to manage multiple device using python scripts & APIs. Thanks, David.

David, thanks again for this perfect demo, I have a suggestion: in order to show how REST API is better than CLI in one device I suggest using a CSV file (derived from Excel sheet) to create 10 interfaces (as an example) then things will make sense to use APIs rather than CLI. I tried that with ACI and created a lot of config stuff in a very short time, it took me 6-8 minutes to do one hour work.
Anyone looking to follow this: When I logged in, it would not accept the port listed in this video. I was able to get to the router by eliminating the port (get rid of the ":9443". The rest will work just fine as David shows in his video.
Thank you, very informative video, but i have problem i cannot copy jason skript like you did.,all rows in skript starting from from beginning of every line, which is not acceptable, how can i copy that script like you did
Just an observation for the future. Today I am preparing myself to earn my CCNP. I currently work as an Entry Level NOC Analyst. Let's see where I will be in a year's time.
Hi David, Love the way you explained the concepts. Question: I have a CCNP certification and I have to re-certify not to loose all my cisco certifications, would you recommend other study resources besides this one to prepare me for the test?. Please advice
I think I understand why people say "Just use CLI" Even if you have many devices, things like IP addresses (you do not have the same loopback IP on all routers), Interfaces, VLAN assignment, routing policies, will have to be individually tailored for each device, maybe as a template or something.
Hi David, I am unable to create loopback interface usimg postman. "error-message": "inconsistent value: Device refused one or more commands", is showing. Please help.
a Controller is a physical chassis ( where is runned Software called intelligence ) or an esxi _Server or linux-server where software called controller is installed ? im little confused
Fellow learners, I am able to create a new Interface(Status 201) but when I query using GET command it give Status 200 but get notice " 1 Changes could not be saved I don't have permission"? Any other users have this issue or suggestion?

Hi David, do you have an agenda for this course. In which order you will deliver the course? You started with Automation; what is next?
I think I understand why people say "Just use CLI"
Even if you have many devices, things like IP addresses (you do not have the same loopback IP on all routers), Interfaces, VLAN assignment, routing policies, will have to be individually tailored for each device, maybe as a template or something.
Thank you David :)
Hi David, I am unable to create loopback interface usimg postman. "error-message": "inconsistent value: Device refused one or more commands", is showing. Please help.
are you gonna to make an ansible video?
David, In this section can you confirm ios-xe URL is correct I was unable to complete this section. Error 404 Not Found.
Thank u !
a Controller is a physical chassis ( where is runned Software called intelligence ) or an esxi _Server or linux-server where software called controller is installed ? im little confused
The postman request could not be sent, so what went wrong?
Dave u r doing amazing job, I think you are a bit late for your 10th lecture
Nice video sir
Thank you!
is the next video building a reusable python function with json body content? or is this my homework assignment to automate using a python script. 🤗
Please submit your code here :) I am going to create very simple scripts so as to help as many people as possible.
Fellow learners, I am able to create a new Interface(Status 201) but when I query using GET command it give Status 200 but get notice " 1 Changes could not be saved I don't have permission"? Any other users have this issue or suggestion?
I get a runtime mapping error, it was probably something I did, I just want to know what that error means
am getting 200 ok, but the loopback is not created?
Hello there!
