My wife and I are moving to Kalamazoo in June of this year and this video is helping us feel oriented to Kalamazoo and even more excited about the move than we already were! What a lovely city. Thanks for filming this with your very helpful and detailed narration!
I've lived there for almost 7 years on Ranney St. within walking distance to Martini's restaurant, Crow's Nest coffee and Bagel Shop, hopefully will move back in the near future miss the festival's.
I have a strong connection to Kalamazoo but don’t live there fully. That intersection has always been a mess. It’s really a mess with all the construction going on there. The old layout had a Michigan left type of intersection and a lot of accidents would happen because people would try to turn left from the middle of the intersection so the new layout is supposed to be safer. There were signs permitting left turns and people would still do it. The last time I was there (October 2022) there were construction delays and what not. Horrible stroad.
Wonderful town. Loved living there!

There definitely was a lot of construction last year, but it’s pretty much over with now.
