  • Join me for a cinematographic 20 minute flight into one of the most remote areas of continental United States - Olympic National Park. We descend over 6000' to land in the Windy Arm region in the Elwha Valley of Washington State. Our aircraft is the Maule M-7-235 in this Developer Spotlight video. The Maule M-7 was developed by Pilot Experience Sim for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

What a work of beauty and art. Loved the music and your timing of shots to the music.

Thank you very much Jack. Yes, extra editing to get the timing right, but well worth the effort for the final result. It is a great fun flight! Blue skies!

      Shame about the flight model

@@hm250 According to Maule pilots, the response to control surface input is pretty good. The main criticism comes from the lack of power when going full flaps and full power. I think this will be addressed in an update to the model. Thanks for the visit!

@The Flight Level I own a Maule, I would be 6 foot under if it flew like this :-)

@@hm250 Good one! Have you tried the latest version? I think they are up to the 4th update and the initial pitch sensitivity has been addressed. Chime in with other Maule pilots on their Discord to let them know what you feel is wrong. Blue skies!

Great flight into some amazing scenery. I have been unsure about the Maule but it looks very capable. The final wolf howls certainly had my dog's attention!!

Thanks and fabulous! There is some serious HP up front, delivering 235 horses mounted to an empty weight of 1700 lbs. Very capable indeed! When I heard the howls, I knew I just had to add them in! Blue skies!

How did you get the 750/650 in the plane? Thanks.

When you open the clipboard in the airplane you have the open to install the default Garmin 530 and 430, the TDS GTNXi or the PMS50 GTN750. There is a free version of the PMS50 that you could try out here pms50.com/msfs/. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the visit! In Lycoming we trust! I did lean initially. Recording software does not always playback exact flight control settings. Good eye for details! Blue skies!

Hi and thanks for the visit! This has been updated from the original version. I find the current flight model to be very acceptable and not too sensitive. Blue skies!
