I feel odd because Shane looks so genuinely happy in this video, but I really can’t get the same from him in the last 6 months or so. I love to watch these videos over and over again, but I feel like Shane has been so caught up in making his fans happy rather than actually giving himself a break and making videos like these. I don’t know, this might be just my opinion but I’m writing this just to see if anybody else might feel it too. I still LOVE Shane and will support him all the way tho❤️❤️.

yes! I feel like he's now happier with the outcome of his videos, but not happier overall making them. I think his channel has grown so much and he feels pressured to put out a certain standard of videos. I love his big videos and i know he doesn't want to junk up his (very professional) channel with his old style videos. But I wish he would maybe post videos like this on his side channel sometimes, just when he feels like it.

i watched this the day it came out and i still come back cuz its one of the funniest vids everrrr like drew carried this so bad
this was definitely his best era. pre-spooky boys he was offensive and unfunny and immature. post-spooky boys he was only making pretentious "documentaries" I mean vlogs where he played captain save-a -ho for mostly terrible people. this era was cute, funny, unproblematic, and joyous. such a shame.

Who knows when he was talking about killing/torturing Lauren Schnipper in violent graphic detail while making her say offensive things. He's still immature and offensive, now, just to much lesser degrees. Whoever thinks constant self deprecation, suicide jokes and inappropriate jokes in front of children are all that funny. They can be but he really relies on lowest common denominator "comedy" or basically recycles jokes from Drew and Garrett.
