this mod does sundowner justice, it's as if the shields make him more defensive but when he loses them he gets a speed buff
honestly, him charging at you mid cutscene and you having to react 100% fits his character and him using more underhanded tactics like using backup
Almost makes me want a game where the enemy gets cutscenes but you can attack them, but the whole gimmick is that they are like a player character, super strong, but fragile and almost impossible to topple when they are on their game, so you just resort to cheap ass tricks based on game logic to beat them.
This is basically what it's like fighting a cyborg in the metal gear franchise as like.. just a normal soldier
I still wish Sundowner was fully invincible until you destroy all of his shields

@@tatotaytoman5934 wrong, raiden himself is only 10 times slower than ripper mode+blade mode, so he’d still be really really fucking fast, a percentage of the speed of light.
You could all explain why they are so slow or that weak in certain situations
-You can't dash with a % of a lightspeed on a helipad because Raiden would just damage the helipad itself
-Raiden punching Armstrong after just yeeting the excelsus? Newton's third law, it's hard to punch someone with immense power if you can't push yourself forward, it's like trying to push your sofa with your socks on, you'll just slide away or be pushed back by your own strength so Raiden opted for many, many lighter punches
It's either the case of not wanting to destroy one's surroundings or not loosing contact with the ground

It's basically like shown in the beginning cutscenes, Sundowner looked almighty taking down those two bodygaurds of the PM, and now it's like the game is making it seem that way too.

If I could choose what mods to make to Sundowner in each difficulty:
Easy: Old Sundowner w/o changes, but doing the avoid the shields method will have Sundowner say "Dirty little bastard. Don't try that sh*t outside of Easy mode" after being defeated.
Normal: Sundowner will not take any damage in the first phase, forcing you to cut his shields off. He will get a modest speed buff, but he won't start attacking in the cutscene. His HP will also rise to 1200 from the 800 he used to have. The unblockable attacks that instakilled you in this video take away a third of your health.
Hard: Same as Normal but with a greater speed buff and 1800 HP and those unblockable attacks now take away two thirds of your health.
Very Hard and Revengeance: This Sundowner (maybe with 2400 HP if he doesn't already have it).

okay, but if the damage was balanced instead of 1 or 2 shot on Raiden, this would be SO GODDAMN COOL.
Damage on Revengeance is too massive, at 100% life, bosses will two-shot you
However, your parries deal massive damage to EVERYTHING on this difficulty

People don't understand that Sundowner isn't easy because he deals too little damage or is too slow. His attacks are just badly designed. Easily avoidable. Tutorial tier attacks.

In fact, you could have added a couple more helicopters and then the fight with Sundowner became MUCH more difficult (but that doesn't make it any better or more epic)

@@sp00ky-tv I like making rebalancing mods for my favorite game to refresh the experience and/or make things more challenging, but I couldn't understand how to mod MGR in terms of gameplay. There are so many weird file types inside that I have no clue
