This is beautiful. I've always loved this part of the song, 1:42, but you made it even more special. This is my study music because it's the only thing I can actually sit down and think with. And also, I think it fits the more sane side of Jevil. He might seem insane, but I think there's something else. And this fits it.

I always felt like Jevil was, for some reason, a very scholarly/intellectual who, after stumbling into whatever the reality of the dark world and perhaps Gaster (ah yes, Gaster. Our placeholder to explain weird theories) is and, discovering through reseatch the very nature of how everything he is, and everything he ever cared about was simply just toys or something, and how his ability and drive to do anything was just derived from his card's role and that, since jokers are always put away, he realized his destinity was to be cast away...He ended up being free. Free to know that his card role has been accomplished and that at this point, he can do anything he wants, no longer being limited by his prewritten destiny.
Knowledge can make people go crazy so that'd be an interesting story imo
@@lamp9359 I can see that, actually. Jesters from back in the day were usually VERY intelligent and, alongside their job of entertainment, were often given the responsibility of being the King's advisor. The Jester was one of few people who could say to his face that he was an idiot and not get killed. Keeping that in mind, it makes a lot of sense why Jevil is the way he is, as you said. Jesters were also used in wars for psychological warfare and, occasionally, battle strategy. So that explains Jevil's oddly calculated attacks and knowledge that targeting the healer would cause the fight to be over soon.
(You probably already know all this but your comment made me think about when I read it somewhere-)
