I think it’s funny that he thinks Elaine is less old lady than Olivia. Olivia has been top 10 girl names for the past 5 years or so. Super “of this era”. Love the banter between you two. So cute

yes, katie! i think kai is such an adorable nickname for a boy and you don’t hear it very often!
Definitely team Malachi!! I know you all aren’t religious but the name actually means “messenger of God” and was a prophet of God in the Bible that predicted the coming of Jesus. So the name is far away from being a demon or murderer. Alyssa has great taste in names 🤗!!!
Dexter for me makes me think about the crime investigator/murderer in the TV show of the same name.

Elaine (pronounced Eh-lane, not Ee-lane) is much more old-lady/old-fashioned than Olivia, I feel. Not a fan of Blake, Hunter or Cameron for girls.
i agree! i feel like today you’re much more likely to hear someone name their daughter olivia, rather than elaine & yes, my choices for girl names are certainly not everyone’s cup of tea!

i had never heard of that spelling until another person commented saying their name was “alivia.” is it pronounced “uh-livia” or “o-livia”?
@@Alyssa.Hansen it’s pronounced uh-livia, I feel like everyone forgets the O in Olivia or it’s silent to some and they pronounce as if it has an A instead of an O. My first daughters name is Alyia (or like most spell it Aaliyah) but I just thought that was so extra lol.
good point, i never actually o-livia lol. yes! there’s so many different spellings for aaliyah. i am not a fan of the double a, it looks weird to me. i have a friend that spells it allyah
Good way to set her up for a life of having to constantly correct how her name is spelled! I don’t understand why parents do this to their kids, just to be different. It’ll make her adult life harder than it needs to be.
