Oh my god. This is unbelievable. This song is one of my favorite 90's Rock Power Ballads (along with "More Than Words" by Extreme). Absolutely BRILLIANT guys. Incredible.

I feel it's unfair and unkind to compare HSCC's covers to the original version of our favorites from years gone by. I choose to believe that what they are doing is not necessarily to improve what's already been great, as much as to pay tribute to the creators of such great pieces of art by interpreting them at best they can with new equipment and recording/mixing processes which may not yet be available then! We should be happy that they too love our favorites, and we should regard that as a recognition of the greatness of these songs ("you too!?" factor). Besides, if you don't like covers, you can always unsubscribe and stick it out with your undying devotion to the original. And finally, to preserve the sanctity of the original, don't you even dare to hum along because you will not give it justice.
Keep it up HSCC! Thanks for never failing to brighten our day!

dude, seriously, there's no reason to mentally or intellectually masturbate about the reason for any covers. and i doubt anyone can improve on the recordings of the past with new technology. in fact, it's probably the opposite. the magic of every modern recording is in the art and secrets of what the musicians, engineers and producers did during the recording and mastering of the track. do you really think someone is going to OUTRECORD, for example, randy rhoads or eddie van halen and improve on their recordings? i mean..come on. someone is going to outrecord boston, the beatles, the who, queen?

One of the main things I love about HSCC is that when they do a hit, it’s just the way we know and love it. No special renditions. Just the awesome radio hit that it was.
Well, that not universally true... Dive back into their archives and you'll hear a little creative license going on. Can't think of any off the top of my head at the moment, but the different renditions are there. BUT they still sound EXCELLENT.

Each performer VOLUNTEERS their time when performing with HSCC on RUclips. Some members have just given birth to a baby. Others have families and their careers to look after outside of HSCC.

What a great HSCC take on a Classic. A trip down memory lane for me. In Osaka Japan 1999 New Year’s Eve Y2K at the Osaka Dome Mr Big opened for the Band I was touring with. When this song started 60 thousand Japanese kids stood and sang every word in English. Note for note. I was floored. The night was topped off with both bands heading to the Blue Note to catch a 2 AM show with Nile Rogers and Chic. What great times. Music surely bonds the masses. Thanks for carrying it on and stirring up a musical memory.

With a little bit of advertising on your part, I believe you could have one of the largest RUclips Live viewerships in history and you could pull in tens of thousands of dollars from viewers in donations and tips to keep the HSCC programming going strong and expanding your audience.
