I'm currently reading Always and Forever, Lara Jean! I've been reading the trilogy for the first time this week! I feel like everyone loves the last one!

Lys Reads Same!!! I am so excited to read it because it's based on one of my favorite series(The Lunar Chronicles).
I didn't like Finding Audrey, either, but mostly because I actually wanted to read about the event that brought upon her anxiety, and I hated the way her sunglasses came off, but I ended up giving it four stars because I enjoyed her family. Idk.
Hey Hailey, for Gentleman's Guide I'm curious why you didn't say the relationship was between two male characters? You seemed to have avoided saying it entirely. If you really enjoyed it and loved the relationship why not say it's a m/m romance?

I read The Gentleman's Guide to vice and Virtue during booktube-a-thon and I loved it so much. Definitely one of my favorite reads of the year
I like what you said about how people treat young adult readers because as a teacher I find that many, if not most, of my colleagues approach curriculum from that exact position. It is very sad that they do not think that young people understand mature and complex concepts.
I read Stars Above a couple months ago and absolutely loved it, but I'm a huge Marissa Meye fan 😍

Can't wait for your review of Under Rose Tainted Skies :) I really loved that book, I feel like I learned so much about agoraphobia while reading it! But I completely agree that the ending kind of came out of no where and didn't really fit.

Hey Hailey! Amazing wrap up! However you forgot to mention that the MC in A Guide to Vice and Virtue is bi and that there is a m/m relationship! It's always important to put a spotlight on these relationships because heteronormativity is a huge social issue today!

I actually sorta "buddy read" American Street with you for the booktube-a-thon and used it for the same challenge (unintentionally, of course...I'm not a stalker I swear 😂) and I loved it! It was so amazing and I couldn't stop reading it. Even when I did I thought about it constantly until I could go back to reading it haha. I'm glad you liked it too! I love your videos btw 😊❤️

I could have read a lot more than I did in July. I did get through 6 books which is usually the average for me but books took a little longer than they should have. It was like an iddy-biddy slump month.
I finished 2 books for the booktube-a-thon. started 2 others. But...yeah. didn't finish either of them. Could have but 4 day migraine.

You should read A School for Unusual girls by Kathleen Baldwin! It is really good!
I was also disappointed by flame in the mist. I found everything meh including the charactersthe story etc. The best part was learning more about samurai and that culture. Also, I want to red the pearl thief but I haven't read the other books and don't want to as I'm not interested in WW2 stories. Can I still read the Pearl Thief and appreciate it?

Read American Street and I LOVED it!!! I think it didn't get as much hype was Bec I think it came out about the same time or around the same time as The Hate U Give came out and maybe the hype of THUG kind of overshadowed American Street? Don't count me on tht tho 😅

i feel like we are almost living the same life 😂 were both from canada and love reading and writing and i also want to be an arts major
I honestly dunno how to feel about "Finding Audrey" 'cause on one hand it had some nice funny moments but mostly like you said I disliked how it focused on her brother instead of Audrey herself & I was pissed off about how we didn't get to know about that school accident in detail and the trigger to her social anxiety also Linus & the trope of LOVE CURES MENTAL ILLNESS was a huge no for me :|
& as for "The Gentleman's Guide To Vice And Virtue" it was a huge disappointment for me mainly because I went into it expecting it to be more focused on Monty & Percy's relationship **the few scenes of that were so cute & the best thing about it imo** & I did enjoy the first half and went through it very quickly but after that it kept dragging on & felt boring and I honestly struggled to finish it so yeah one of my complaints that it was so unnecessarily long but I'll still pick up its companion novel when it comes up because I liked the sister's character :")
