Cello Choir: Hymnus for 12 Cellos Opus 57 (Klengel)

Julius Klengel was a German cellist and composer who became a full-time member of the the Gewandhaus Orchestra of Leipzig at the age of just fifteen. He composed numerous works for solo cello and cello ensemble: Hymnus for 12 Cellos is one of them. Performed by the 2022 cello cohort at Perlman Music Program, Shelter Island, New York, on July 29, 2022.
