I’m going to write here 5:15 to come here every time I want to blow my mind and feel goosebumps with one of the most beautiful riff and solo I have ever hear…. ✨👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻
Hey Joey, love your videos! Maybe this is an off topic question but can you do a video/short about your desk setup? I'm trying to get the mess of cables on my desk organized and would like to do something like what you have. Rack mounted gear with a monitor and speakers on top. Your setup looks slick. Can't quite tell what you have besides the Kemper though. Some mic pres? I'm thinking about a rack Helix, rack audio interface, and maybe a compressor. Thanks!
Hi, I am a Fender Telecaster user like you and I really love your distorted tones. How can you have them? Which amp models are you using? Please answer 🙂
In the '80s and '90s when I was writing and gigging I would have either looped the bass part of that drop B riff or the keyboard player would have played the bass rhythm part on guitar with me playing over the top of it and the bass player probably playing over it on the lower octave. The only alternative tunings we used was half a step down sometimes and open D for some slide rocky blues songs. I think it only became popular when the thrash metal Johnnies started up. We played something similar to your half step out of tune but bending into tune, it would be looped and then the guitar tuned back to concert pitch, we tried some dissonant notes in chord progressions at one time but it didn't suit our style really so we dropped it (no pun intended) I love that Telecaster, Im a Tele guy, I played a 1984 Blonde Black Guard Squier Tele and a Fender 1986 2 colour Sunburst Tele, when I was gigging and still have them today, the Squier was my main guitar with the Fender as my backup, much to the confusion of musician friends, once they played the Squier though they realised why, it is an awesome Telecaster that I would put up against any Fender model, they are in very good condition considering they were gigged, I looked after them and cleaned them down after every gig, I cant stand the smell of cigarettes and so cleaned them before bringing them into my home.
@@joeyjooones To be fair I think you made some fun stuff with it - and it did suit the tunes so as an effect or stylistic thing it worked very well. Or you made it work ☺
First of all, nice Telecaster, ridiculous relic job though. You paid extra to have that done your beautiful guitar? Lol. Honestly, you appear to be a very wealthy trust fund baby. Is that how you got so good? Because you’ve never had to work a real job, parents paid for everything (nothing but the best for their little boy) and could just spend every waking moment sitting in your parents mansion playing guitar all day? Maybe I’m just jealous. You play very well rich boy.

Holy crap, that sounds immense, very impressed. Just started learning, i hope i can play like this one day
You sure can. 🙏🏻 just keep at it!
One of my favorite telecaster tunings is open G with a drop C, so much fun
Excellent my friend. All the Best from North Yorkshire. England.😎🤘
There's also the ballad of John Henry by Joe Bonamassa in that tuning. Great song. And great playing Joey !!
Sounds amazing
Klasse playing !

The TubbyTele tuning.
Sounds killer ❤👍
very petruc-esque solo without super peeling very nice!
The last riff sounds like some Tool ! ❤️
Great video. Your playing is so inspiring.
thank you. That's why I came up with all the courses as well - because it makes people play more. And I think that's key to happier times. ;)
Fantastic. 🏴
That sounds awesome.
WHAT A SOLO !!!!

In what world are 10's considered small. 9-42 and 10-46 are what 99.99999% of guitars are shipped with
and 100% of guitars are also shipped setup for standard tuning. in a drop B context, 10s ARE kinda small.
10s being normal is a relatively recent development in the history of the guitar. And for low tunings 10 is really light.
Would you drop the e string of the bass, too, for recording?
Seriously how are you getting your tone its always insane, what are you using?…🙏🏻
What are you amping that through, brother? Sounds sick!
Fractal FM9
Broooo
NO! 😀 We have guitars at home!!
@@joeyjooones hahhaahha never enough. The excuse of not playing is "not enough gear" :P
Why does this remind me of Tremonti :D
Hey Joey - listen to the newer albums from Dizzy Mizz Lizzy from Denmark ;) there Are some of the same vibes😎 very cool video and playing😊
That rusty sound makes me think of Thelma & Louise movie🍿
I wouldn’t call 10s light. 7s are light!
Im not quite entirely sure i really want to hear a telecaster sound like this 😳 ... but oh alright then 😏
Fair enough! To each their own.

Why did you feel the need to leave this comment here?
What a stupid comment. If you don't like it don't watch it.
