Folks, if you hope on day your drumming to reach that type of advanced stuff, you'll need to master a couple of things first... To master the double stroke with both hands and on both bass drum pedal as well as the fingers technique (using only 2 fingers on the sticks) to be able to play high BPM while being at ease all the time,. There's also the music note reading (to be able to both read and execute), etc. I've seen advanced metal drummers, or drummers playing metal, a bit like this guy on the video, play high level stuff while being very gentle, not hitting hard at all on their drum, opposing to what people often think about metal drummers playing hard and brutal...There is also that. Even a drummer like Ringo Starr was able to do all that, if I rely on some more hard playing sounding I heard of him. A real complete drummer does all that...
The ankle swivel is the drum equivalent to guitarist wind mill picking. I watched your video, you aren't actually hitting the bass peddles the way the audio sounds. Why would you pretend like this? Thumbs down.
