If the number of applicants exceeds the number of places available, there is a selection process. Applicants are grouped into categories and then ranked on the basis of their qualifications. The highest-ranking candidates are admitted until all the available study places are filled. The selection criteria vary from programme to programme and are specified for each programme on the programme-page on the course catalogue: Find courses and programmes.

Mam, I am a graduate with BSc.Maths. I am 25 years old now. I've been preparing for bank and SSC exams but I can't maintain consistency due to my lack of interest. I have a flare to study nature, environment, wildlife, etc. So Is there any way I can study courses related to these fields at this university and find a job there itself? I'd be glad if you reply 🙂

I understand completely how you feel. You should explore your dreams and ambitions instead of getting stuck in the archaic mainstream. Scandinavia is the best place to get academic degrees in wildlife and nature.
Master’s program in Forest and Nature Management, as well as Wildlife Conservation, are quite popular up here.
For example at our South campus, studyindenmark.dk/portal/university-of-copenhagen-ucph/south-campus/forest-and-nature-management
Both Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala and Norway University of Applied Sciences offer wildlife studies.
Furthermore, there are Climate Science and Arctic studies in Nordic countries. Stockholm University offers Master’s programs in Global Environment and Climate System.

However, admission requirements for such courses are international Bachelor’s degree in one of the “green” disciplines, not Maths. That means you need supplmentary course here. Perhaps additional course in Scandinavian languages.
And yes, after graduation here, you will be able to secure a “job-seeker” residence permit.
Remember, finding a job here after graduation and making a career here are almost 95% likely. It saddens me to see students leave Scandinavia after graduation. Nordic countries are paradise for successful career, if you have education from one of the Nordic Universities. I will make some phone calls around to the study counselling centres so I can advise you better.

Mr. Krishnan, Sir, I have found some more info. The academic institute in Europe that would suit perfect for students with background of Physics and/or Mathematics is Niels Bohr Institute. Other than Climate Change, Earth Science, Environmental Science and Forest Management, they also have Optomechanics and Photonics. This website provides elaborate description of program structure, career opportunities and academic/admission requirements. This website also shows how to get accepted in case your background does not meet the requirements.
