I am adopted and SO BLESSED. He couldnt have picked a better set of parents for me. Thank the Good Lord. Overwhelmed right now. I know I am late, but just looking back at 43 years of life. I would not change anything if I could. So many things that He kept out of my life. I am black my parents are white. Still blessed to have them. THANK YOU FOR THIS MESSAGE.

I don't know either of you AND I am sure you dont need me to defend you. Yet, I want to say that the negative tones in a few of the comments I read most likely are from people with no adult children, and no experience with adoption of children of ANY race. Would to God that we would, like Paul, applaud those who do good things...even if we think their motives are not entirely pure.

Life is a journey that feels very complicated at times however, when it comes down to the end of the matter God is Love. Because God is love we have to see His love, accept it and give it. So to you out there that have a burning about white people adopting black children that’s ok and for those that want to change the narrative about the “savior complex” that’s ok too. However, at the end of the day what does any of it matter, if Love, care, compassion, and acceptance is being given to the children? If these women do have this complex then don’t stress about it. I’m sure you probably have a complex of your own to workout with God. And guess what so do I and so does everyone because we all have a journey. To everyone out there remember if we all focus being the best “You” we can be with the Love that God pours out each day to us then that much ground is taken back from the REAL enemy... #lovefirst
In fact being a vertous woman doesn't means that you don't have the right to have some fun going out to watch a movie doing Things you like,i can't stop laughing about the way you told your husband that you are going out.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣,they all react the same way😲😯🤔 who's that new wife i have????
