I was privileged to grow up in the neighborhood, and we could not just be there- but be there where they played free shows in the community (Fort Reno). Their spirit is needed now more than ever. I was lucky enough to see Coriky live more recently, and Ian is every bit as outspoken and unapologetic as ever.
So many highlights in one video. Guys dancing, ians hate for that guy, a little more angry please, the musical performance itself, guys piano,... basically guy in general. The guys poem about his dependence on alcohol, and it goes on. No wonder this band changed my life.
This is the craziest shit, they let the people on the stage to let themselves come out. THIS is pure art, not some shit propagated by a label that has control over the band.
I was just a kid but this was FUCKING AWESOME, one of my favorite nights. I am grateful I saw this band. Saw them in Newtown, Wollongong and Manly, I am gonna make it my first wish when I find a genie's lamp.
Fucking cool. I saw them at Sydney Town Hall. Years latter I was working on the dev team for battlefield apocalypse and got in touch with them to see if we could use their music in the game. They said yes.

Ian owned the label, so they could kind of do whatever they wanted

I can relate. I was right next to Kyle. The "lighter guy".
This is the best thing I’ve ever seen
the way they build up that end part is so cool
It’s cool how they let people add something to say
the added piano is awesome
Fugazi are so amazing thank youuu

Their drummer is off the chain skilled prolly most talented one in the band

He should have been warned about Australian madness lol

It's epic they sound the exact same. Like different every time it's played I've ever seen🤙
Where abouts in Newtown was this?
Newtown Burland neighbood center across from the train station. I will never forget that night
@@gerardmills656 Across the road from the Station was the Hub. The Burland Community hall was up the road.

Amazing. Is that piano riff from a song? It sounds familiar
The one towards the end is just the end guitar part of the original. I think that's also what the one in the middle is.
like 666 reporting for duty
Vastly inferior to "Waiting Room".
Your critique is nuanced but incredible! you must be a music critic of the highest caliber and prestige that nobody gives two shits about!
The whole ep is perfect
