Mine is how I’d pray and tell God I’m continuing my walk with him but then lust will tarnish it instantly. I feel like my flesh is more in the front row of my life rather than my spirit. It’s not like I’m not taking action, but the action to walk with Jesus is slow and I am fully aware it’s very toxic but I’m not giving up on myself. I’m in this together with Christ and I know I’ll get there🚵🏽♂️👏🏽 God bless everyone who goes thru what I go thru currently… don’t give up please!💕
Yes it's like i felt like i had to be a perfect christian or God wouldn't love me... but that's not true, im still learning that i don't need to be perfect for God to love me but i just can't help it... and then the random lustly thoughts come and tries to destroy me, i try to rebuke it but it's like it won't go away.. and then when i talk to someone about it i feel better and they pray for me and i ask God too and then that helps me also :)

Yes I struggle with it too sometimes. It just makes me want to pray about it and talk to God about it and ask him to help me with that. It's like I have a blanket of peace when I talk to God about it.
After all this time, I still don't really get this. Even though the last 4 years has been forward and progressive, overcoming alcohol and cocaine addiction... working through BPD and every season producing growth...I STILL get under a cloud of condemnation OFTEN... I just torture myself with the perfectionism crap- so toxic! Grateful that it doesn't take me backwards anymore. Thank you JESUS!
Can relate. The solution to everything is making time to read and meditate on the word and giving yourself to prayer, especially praying in tongues which the Holy Spirit help you to pray perfect prayer according to the world of God.

No, some christians are getting a little bit of suffering to make them stronger, some are bullied and harrased from birth to death. God separates people into this 2 groups complitely randomly, even if u are the best, compassionate person in the world, u will still be destroyed if god will throw his dice and assign u to second group. This is what i experience because of God and it's getting worse and worse

This was me also 6 months ago! I just came back to Christ in January this year, and I used to always say, what’s wrong with me? Why can’t I just be full of joy and on fire for God like everyone else? But having a true God loving community definitively helped.

I've also come to notice that every time I fail, and even though its felt like the end for me, God draws me back and even uses my failures to draw me closer to him and further from my old ways. I want to thank God for always being faithful and true to his word. For all the rest of you going through this, don't give up.

Me too! I am so thankful to God that he put this on my page! I come from a past of manipulation, narcissism, mind games, you name it. I struggle even trusting myself. I struggle thinking highly of myself. I struggle with internal hardships, but The Lord I know is transforming me. I know he will show me and prove all of those doubts, fears, and worries wrong. Our God IS a loving and LIVING God. He is not angry, nor spiteful. He is just, merciful, and patient. I struggle with depression, anger at times, losing jobs. It hurts and it's a struggle everyday. But, I trust the father and am a faithful follower. My struggles will be over when God brings me home. I've got to believe there is a purpose.
There is purpouse in your suffering and every other person, but as more and more years passes for me as devoted christian i fear the purpouse is not anything good. I feel i have been lied to by god. He claims to be merciful, he claims to always support harrased people, to side with victims of violence, to heal sick. But everyday i get more and more proves of opposite, that for some reason God works with Satan, and allows him to torture some people. For what reason? I don't know. But sadly everything points to that we are a toys for this 2, we are entertainement for demons. And god condemnds us to be tortured by demons for their entertainement for fun. I get more and more proves of that everyday. So the purpouse of your suffering and many others, is that satan and demons can get some fun.
You are not alone, a year ago I decided along my husband to give my life to Christ and worry I wasn’t truly sincere about it because I started sinning even worse and lied for the past year about things I have done. Last month I finally came clean about everything and though I have hurt many people I also hurt God, and Christ. Lately I feel like I’m struggling in my relationship with them because I get anxious every time I think about them and growing in them. I get anxious about what I have done and what it did to others and feel like I can’t grow in Christ.
You know!!! The desire to be "perfect." And it truly is toxic. But we not to glory in our sin or the things that plague us, but each time they come up, to surrender them to God again.

I remembered one day. I had become completely broken by my mental illnesses. It crippled me as a person and my life. I was broken spirited. And so sad for so long. And i begged god so earnestly. " almighty lord! Please free me from my mental illness" (im not 100% sure if i had fast before or nof because i was really trying to get a breakthrough) when i had given my whole heart in utter weakness to the lord and calmed down. In the hour my mental illnesses were gone! Despression Anxiety Ptsd Bipolar Narcissism And more I had alot this happened 2 years ago. Since i stopped focusing on them ive forgotten them. But ive had these illnesses since i was 8-10 years old. The lord freed me when i could no longer whole on. All the glory and honor to the lord our God!
The first time I accepted Jesus into my life I completely changed and many of my friends didn’t like this new change and it made me sin wrathfully towards them, like it was the first time I swore in months and the first time I ever had hatred. So ever since I was struggling with lust and I tried forcing myself to change in one day like the first time, but I realize I can’t and it really showed me that without faith I will never transform into a holy version of myself, and i tried so many times to force myself to change back into my old ways after I repented night after night. But thanks to you I realized that I must have faith that Christ will make my life better even if I don’t know where it is that I walk. 🙏🙏❤️

The things we struggle with as Christians is dealing with the lies of the enemy! Once your saved the only thing that the enemy knows is to bombard us with out failures and our insecurities! He wants to remind us of who we were. Let Jesus change you, don't try and do it all at once! It's a walk! A relationship!

Definitely always a struggle but In the end i remember that his spirit is there. Jesus is there with us in each step.
After being saved we all need deliverance from demons to get set free. This is done through fasting, forgiveness, prayer, and deliverance.

I've been struggling for the last few years and keep thinking something is wrong with my relationship with God. Which isn't good! I was completely free and surrendered my life. But now I'm struggling so much, and not sure what to do. Also, thank you for sharing this!

I struggle with depression, anger at times, losing jobs. It hurts and it's a struggle everyday. But, I trust the father and am a faithful follower. My struggles will be over when God brings me home. I've got to believe there is a purpose.
There is purpouse in your suffering and every other person, but as more and more years passes for me as devoted christian i fear the purpouse is not anything good. I feel i have been lied to by god. He claims to be merciful, he claims to always support harrased people, to side with victims of violence, to heal sick. But everyday i get more and more proves of opposite, that for some reason God works with Satan, and allows him to torture some people. For what reason? I don't know. But sadly everything points to that we are a toys for this 2, we are entertainement for demons. And god condemnds us to be tortured by demons for their entertainement for fun. I get more and more proves of that everyday. So the purpouse of your suffering and many others, is that satan and demons can get some fun.
You are not alone, a year ago I decided along my husband to give my life to Christ and worry I wasn’t truly sincere about it because I started sinning even worse and lied for the past year about things I have done. Last month I finally came clean about everything and though I have hurt many people I also hurt God, and Christ. Lately I feel like I’m struggling in my relationship with them because I get anxious every time I think about them and growing in them. I get anxious about what I have done and what it did to others and feel like I can’t grow in Christ.

You know!!! The desire to be "perfect." And it truly is toxic. But we not to glory in our sin or the things that plague us, but each time they come up, to surrender them to God again.
Girl STOP, I feel "attacked" 😂. Okay, on a more serious note, I feel this. Feeling the need to be perfect to be acceptable is a daily struggle, but thank you for this because it was a good reminder that perfection is a LIFELONG process through JESUS, not me.
I remembered one day. I had become completely broken by my mental illnesses. It crippled me as a person and my life. I was broken spirited. And so sad for so long. And i begged god so earnestly. " almighty lord! Please free me from my mental illness" (im not 100% sure if i had fast before or nof because i was really trying to get a breakthrough) when i had given my whole heart in utter weakness to the lord and calmed down. In the hour my mental illnesses were gone!

I had alot this happened 2 years ago. Since i stopped focusing on them ive forgotten them. But ive had these illnesses since i was 8-10 years old. The lord freed me when i could no longer whole on. All the glory and honor to the lord our God!
The first time I accepted Jesus into my life I completely changed and many of my friends didn’t like this new change and it made me sin wrathfully towards them, like it was the first time I swore in months and the first time I ever had hatred. So ever since I was struggling with lust and I tried forcing myself to change in one day like the first time, but I realize I can’t and it really showed me that without faith I will never transform into a holy version of myself, and i tried so many times to force myself to change back into my old ways after I repented night after night. But thanks to you I realized that I must have faith that Christ will make my life better even if I don’t know where it is that I walk. 🙏🙏❤️
Last statement about which start of Holy Spirit change us every day is so correct. Really it touch my heart. Keep up your work. Your words are so loving and which I feel it comes by God

You are not alone. From the very moment you are saved, the enemy will come at you with more lies and more battles and more schemes from all angles. This is because when you aren’t saved, you are already going to hell. So why would Satan waste his time on someone’s spirit he already has? But when we are saved and secure with our salvation, he is going to work 10 time harder to try to get you to stray away from God. So keep pushing through and trusting in God! “Cast all your cares on Him because He loves you” ❤

The things we struggle with as Christians is dealing with the lies of the enemy! Once your saved the only thing that the enemy knows is to bombard us with out failures and our insecurities! He wants to remind us of who we were. Let Jesus change you, don't try and do it all at once! It's a walk! A relationship!
