As coolant temp gage slowly creeped up - the check engine light almost turned on. If it still has hood scoop -> it is time to cut it out and rivet on racing louvers which will aid in cooling and add downforce.
Coolant temps is always a problem with a small displacement, high boost engine. The stock coolant gauge is rubbish and cannot be relied on. Coolant temps will be solved when car returns this summer - electric water pump. Turbo engines do not have to wait until the peak torque happens. Peak torque comes sooner and plus you can brake boost it while turning unless that camaro was supercharged, then my statement does not apply to this race.
Specs of the Camaro Z28 is in video description. Camaro Z28 is a factory built race car with a number plate. 🙂. 500 hp out the box. Dave added cams and some other goodies to produce hp in the 600's. The LS7 can easily make over 720 hp on stock internals.
@@mouneebak2078 its not that simple...You can see japanese tests with tuned chassis setups from different tuners...There are cars with everything upgraded and still understeer is there...SYMS found sweet spot for these platforms

Every mod possible that does not compromise reliability and drivability on the track. Most mods are on the suspension and brakes. Summit Point is all about corner speed. A big turbo and big boost will not help you here.

Sti always had bigger potential than Evo but understeer never allowed it to shine...Tuners like SYMS are showing what a bullets they can be
thicker rear sway bar almost eliminates understeer on these cars
