I love both yours and ally's pictures you both did a great job
Ligt colors is the last one to put in,i like the colors you used and how it looks,my granddaughter use my paints every time she visit me
Resin is to seal your painting you dont need it to do Fluid Art you can use varnish which is a lot less expensive than Resin. There both to seal your painting. I do Fluid Art I have been for almost 2 years now your doing great for your first time doing it. Its addicting lol tip though always use small canvases when your first learning.
I really like the first one. So abstract, just beautiful. Wow now the second one I love,it is gorgeous. Very modern art I think.😀😀 #3 is pretty also. The more you make the better they get. Thanks for sharing!
Not sure if it's already been mentioned in the comments or not but if you spray your cup first with wd40, wipe it out then pour in the paint, your paint won't stick.
You did an excellent job! They turned out awesome!!
Those were really pretty! Why not try one pouring directly from the bottles?
They were all really cool. Gonna do this!!
More. Paint in the cup and then turn the cup upside down and lift from the canvas.
You did flip cup with a ribbon pour!!! Really cool!
Silicon oil is used for the bubble look. Resin is to seal it at the end where acrylic paint is concerned. There are oil paints you can use w resin to pour with that may be why you thought resin was required
That’s good to know!☺️ It looks like a lot fun to do!
I dabble in pour painting - really phenomenal artists on line - to learn from.
Thanks for sharing your debut of pour painting. . .fabulous art form!!!
You did a great job for your first time!!! I love that you allowed your sister a try and are so cute with her. You’re a special sister. I can’t wait for the next video!!
That was neat ! After you do a few more you will learn how much paint you will need on which canvas. I love the ones you done ! That was really nice of you to let your sister do one !!
Your canvas needs a good layer of paint on your canvas. Paint will continue to move off canvas as it dries. Might want to watch more vids
I love it when lady's use the blower method. Or blowing through a straw. I've done 5 with my daughter.
You are so fun to watch!😁 You and your mama act so much alike!🥰 That looks like a lot of fun to do and they came out beautiful!💓👏 TFS
Yeah
Awesome Thanks for sharing. Happy crafting on a budget 💲. Happy everything on a budget💲. See👁 you in the next 🎥 and on the flipside. 👼🌹
Something to do when I'm bored love it👩🏾🎨👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I’m no expert on paint pouring...however, I am an expert mess maker. I would use a piece of cardboard (like from a huge box) and put a dollar tree drop cloth on it. Then it won’t soak through and you can throw it away after.
If you go to a shoe store they will give you the big boxes that the shoe boxes come in. That’s my favorite place to get boxes.
Your paintings turned out pretty nice looking ツ
I've never tried paint pouring. Your paintings looked AWESOME!
Put tacks or square beads to lift your canvas OFF the table so it can drain.
That's pretty cool and mesmerizing!!!
Both very beautiful thank you so much for sharing i.enjoy watching
I’m getting mental therapy just watching !! I think I might gather my lady friends with a cocktail or two and do this!! 💖. Menopause therapy!!
A CHALLENGE TO YOU...
Get a drill with drill bit,
Somehow attach canvas to drill bit,
Plug drill in, pull the trigger and let it
S P I N !!!!
I SUGGEST SAFETY GOGGLES, A COMPLETE PAINT SUIT like the pros use; covers you head to toe...not face🤣
Measure each paint color to get same amount of each...

I think it is pretty. You girls did a GREAT job. TYFS. Yes, I love paint pouring. It’s cool to make a mess BUT have it turn into something worth keeping. Can’t wait to see more.
2nd one was pretty. Didn't really care for.theb1st one
It's looks so Amazing!!! Beautiful 😇💖
U actually did pretty good. I've been watching paint pouring for several years. Ck out Mely D Artist or Rinske Douna(sp). Resin is a whole 'nother animal. Nice job!
Great job! I haven’t tried it yet, but I may after seeing how easy it is. I’m like you, I’m not crazy about the mess it makes but it looks doable.
Thanks for sharing! Loved it!❤️
That was very cool! Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I know my daughter will love trying this. So many different options and different colors to try. It'll be fun. You did a great job. Thanks again!😊😊😊
Wow! Very interesting!! I've never done that before. But you did a great job! Cool!!😊😊 oh wow looks like the outline of a person's face. Or did before. If it were me. I would have just used the bottles to squirt it on. Then rotated my canvas. Why u would need resin? Dont know. But yes it does sound very liquidy. Especially when your shaking it up to make sure its blended. Still cool though! Wow!! Like the galaxy one.. may be messy. But looks like fun and creative. Cool girls! Great job!!
They came out so awesome. I really liked them...will u be hanging and framing them?
Great job! So sweet that you helped your sister! I think paint pouring is neat too! I did one on a DT wood skull.. that turned out neat. As always thank you for sharing your creativity, talent and inspiration! Stay safe, healthy and positive! GOD bless you and your family! 🙏❤🇺🇸🌞
So Cool. Great for your first try. Keep practicing, and you will get perfect.
For a lot of paint pouring inspiration I would suggest Mixed Media Girl's channel. 🎨
Looked like fun. Maybe I should look into doing this with my 7 year old grandson too next time I babysit him. 🙏. Ruth.
I’m like you, didn’t know, until recently “paint pouring” was a thing & not sure I’d like the mess either! Just my opinion.. but I guess if you are a fan of abstract art, you might like it??When you look at it, it’s kinda like looking into the clouds & trying to make out different designs/shapes?? Everyone seems something different in the same space?? Lol . Can you tell I’m one of your mom’s “farm house” diy fans! You did so good with your little sister! Love her sweet little giggle!! I’m sure she’s your #1 fan!
You and Alli did a great job! I would have done the same.....I would have had the paint every where!
Hey 👋 Hey 👋M Kayla
🤯Theses are very cool now cut the bottom of ur cup place ur base coat all over the center then place the top of the cup in the center of the base coat. . and start add the other colors .. moving the cup in circles and slowly lift you should get a better abstract just a hint
I love what u created though too it's really awesome .. as for the resin it's to help seal your colors so they don't crack and peel... Sweet kiddo have a great day 💕

🤙🖌️🖌️🎨🖌️🖌️🤙
Oh and to get about how many ounces of paint you need....for example 8x8..8x8=64 64/16=4 so you need 4 ounces for an 8x8 canvas.
There is no rule that says to use resin. Don't know why that person said that.
To bring the cells out you add silicone... not resin. You CAN use resin after to seal it, but it's not necessary.
Yes, paint pouring uses a LOT of paint. I WOULD say it's comparitive to how much hot glue sticks you say your mom uses, but, you use more paint.
Layer your colors. Not just one layer each. Put multiple layers of each color. Then do your pour.
It usually works better to use a stretched canvas so you can put the super large push pins into the corner backs (or put the canvas on a cup sitting under each corner). The back of the canvas doesn't get as messy and it's easier to pick up and tilt.
When you do a pour put some paint on each corner first so the entire canvas is covered with paint.
Loved each of them. LOVED the second one. Even though I, personally, don't like purple. Also loved the rest.
Alli is a natural. Loved listening to her giggle. So happy you let her do one. You're a great sister.
Have you tried alcohol ink art? Try watching you tube's Myriam's Nature. She does a LOT of alcohol ink art and epoxy resin. She is sooo great. And very informative.
Another great video. Can't wait to see what you try next.
Great Job Kayla and Allie! Great work! loved the colors!
Have never tried paint pouring, but have watched a lot of videos. They are not too concerned about what happens. Watch more vids. Practice makes perfect.
May be you should try painting canvas white first and use smaller cups
Girly, I'm loving this & I'm so going to try it you both did an amazing job on the paintings. Big Thumbs Up. 👍🥰🙏
Love the second on you did.
Me too. 😉
I love them all.. I think the way you help Allison was precious. Your a great big sis.
They are both very beautiful colors. Try putting in more of all colors.
I think my great nephew and great niece would like this. Just enough to do so they won’t get bored and they can choose their fave colors and just messy enough to make them happy. TFS
You always crack me up. I also can never tell if you are pulling my leg about what you know. I would recommend Olga Soby of Smart Art Materials for really clear instructions for paint pouring. She does have a heavy accent but really works at pronoucing words clearly. Of course that is if you want to use up your new paints. LOL
You should use a plastic bin with a kitchen wire lift. It will not be so messy. It really works better on stretch canvas.
I do Fluid Pours. I follow Mixed Media Girl. I use a plastic bin and it is not so messy. It's contained in the bin. If you place a silicon mat down you can use the “skins” to make jewelry. Just peal the dry paint up off the silicon mat.
Best advice I can give you for the rest of your pouring paint.... use a smaller cup and you won't loose so much paint to the inside. It is an addictive art and there are soooooo many techniques. Use a piece of water color paper for your runoff great for mixed media pieces. The most important thing......have fun!!!!
I've not tried them but I like the looks of them. I loved the galaxy one you did. Great job girls.
After they dried all the way, did you get like little air bubbles in your paint? Not air bubbles but like little dots showing up around it? Just curious because I did the exact paints the exact ways on straight canvas and thars what happen to mine. I was told because I was suppose to like prime the canvas first with stuff called jesso?? Just curious how yours dried and looked (wish I could post a pic on here) but yours looks great! I love the first little one you did!
I've got the paint for marbling which is the same concept as paint pouring but I haven't tried it yet. Now I will because you make it seem fun and pretty easy to do. Thanks a bunch!
I always enjoy your videos. You are a very special sweet sister. Thank you for sharing this craft with us.
Super cool looks amazing thank you for sharing 👍
I have never tried paint pouring but it seems pretty cool! I did try doing the reverse glass painting...I did a rooster for my kitchen and it came out pretty cute! Thanks for the inspiration. Take care ❤
Wow it is a messy process. My favorite if yours were the second one and third one. Allison's came out great too. I dont think I would like making a mess lol.
Those were very cool. Yes it is messy and kind of wasteful but you've got to admit it is fun. If you do it again to the dump thing, but instead of picking it straight up, drag it around.
I haven't tried this yet, but I have watched so many videos on it. Most people put a thick coat of white on the canvas to make the paint flow more. And if that paint you have had the silicone in it, a quick blast with a heat gun will break the seal on the cells. They will expand and become more prominent. But I love what you have done here. It makes me think about what a creative mind can conceive and, with the help of God, you come up with something unique and beautiful almost every time!
Watch a lot of video for beginners and you will learn more. I make jewelry from mu dried acrylic skins.
I think you both did a good job The You tubers have things sat up so it is not so messy. I think you would enjoy watching them. there are several different techniques. There's something called swiping. Sandra Lett is the best on that. She has been an artist for years She is really good in anything she does..
You do not need to use resin for pours. Resin is used to seal. It looks beautiful on geode pours with a crystal/seatless/acrylic stones or even plastic. You also need a flood coat ( fluid paint) so that your paint moves easier.Great job Kayla and Allyson. 🤗
Great job. I tried it once but I didn’t feel like I had enough control over where the paint went. I plan on trying again soon.
I've done a few. They are really cool if you put a food strainer in the center of your canvas and pour the paint through it. It makes such cool designs. I really like these.
Hey Kayla! So basically these paints are the same as like the Walmart paints that I have a gajillion of but are color coordinated sets and obviously larger size bottles right? So We could use any colors of our choice of the Walmart or other craft store acrylic paints?
Use a dish pan to pour in and won't be so messy and you can reuse the paint f8ir another pour. And save in Mason jar for another time. It's let's of fun. We also added baby oil and other stuff to our paint to get the cells. You did a good job!!! Liked they way yours turned out.
I'm so so excited... ill-edit after I watch. I've done this and it's so fun you use silicone to make the "cells" come out then you can heat it up too. The resin i think is gor sealing.the paint is suppose to go over the edge silly. My boys friends ask me to make them for them and since I stink at crafts there's no way to mess these up they always look cool. You did awesome such a great job you should of pour the extra on the other canvas and tilted that one too. I'm SO going to buy these colors
I've never tried paint pouring but now I wanna try it. I enjoy your videos. You make me smile!
The canvases turned out really good. Thanks for the demo! I learned how to pour paint 🎨
The first color you put in is the last to come out (duh right?) But keep that in mind as you want your favorite color to be the least to come out. Use a lot more paint than you think you need or put a base of white to help the paint flow. Watch Kanella Ciraco if you want to try dutch putting, it's so much fun and she's the best.
Awe Allies attic. I miss you sweet love you should start doing that again
I tried paint pouring a couple of years ago and it is so fun. I used a large aluminum foil pan from Dollar Tree and lined it with freezer paper. I used paper cups to lay the canvas on so it is not flat against the surface. If you have too much paint when you pour and the extra runs off, it is caught in the pan and when you tilt your canvas the run off is caught too. The freezer paper is used because when the paint drys, it does not stick to the freezer paper and you can peel off the paint skin to use in other projects. Sometimes the run off on the freezer paper was prettier than the canvas. I cut the letters to make my name from a paint skin and used fabric glue and put my name on my canvas apron. If you like this and keep trying, be sure to watch how to do a chain pull. That was my favorite thing to do. There is a channel called Wigglz and he does amazing chain pulls. The main thing is to have fun.
Your creations were beautiful! Nice first try!
There a lot of RUclipsrs that do fluid art. They show you how to get the cells. I have been watching them and it really looks like fun. I think you would really do well at it.
Get a dollar tree dish tub to let the excess paint drip into. It makes cleanup easier! These were all so beautiful!! 👏😍
Those are cool. Allie did a good job.
Love the new outfit.
No resin does not create the c old but this ready to pour has the cell activator. A your colors are great just make a second layer in your cup. Adding white to cover the canvas helps your paint to glide over your canvas
You can use resin but you do not have to you get the sales from either silicone oil or glue all you mix your paints with you should have filled the cup at least half full with the colors so it would flow all over the campus watch more RUclips videos on plank flooring you'll get it down to an art now you take a torch to it will likely and it makes the sales come up better
ITS A COOL THING KAYLA! THEY CAME OUT PRETTY DANG COOL!👍😘
So much fun. Cool pours. Thank you for sharing.
Next time, try spinning it on a lazy Susan and see how you like the outcome.
You did a great job!!! They turned out awesome 😀
I believe that it helps your paint to spread more easily if you put a base coat of paint on the canvas first. Then pour your other colors while your base coat is still wet.
I think they are cool. Wonder if you used less paint or a small container.
Great job girls 👍 & messy but fun!😁
No resin is to seal the piece. Silicone or argan oil create the cells. The mess is the fun part. One thing is to layer your paint so a little light color then a dark then light so on until you get all the colors. Then use a pop stick to draw a cross in the cup. Then dump or pour
Resin makes it harden. Oil will give you the cells
Usually I have done and seen people alternate the colors for 3 or so layers.
The resin or other products not only makes the cells it seals and makes the acrylic paint thinner so its easier to pour but yours had it already in it
You can put push pins under the corners of your edges and that lets the paint drip off and not stick to the plastic
“It kinda looks like I poured paint on a canvas “. Hm.
U support to pour on the surface then pour the paint all over
I love the second one ,so great, hand that one, so cool, you did it right.
Good job for first time. It is messy though. ❤❤❤
All of your paintings turned out pretty
Those are really awesome. So super cool. How come we never get to meet Ali
Really nice. My daughter made me one.
They look great. U r such a great big sister.
