My favourite hero in Mobile Legends is Hylos. I have a relatively slow reaction and hence the fast finger type of heroes are not suitable for me. I like Hylos because it is simple to understand and it allows me to focus on the flow of the game instead of the hero's technical execution.
My playstyle is to use it as a Roamer or the EXP lane as a second choice. I generally like to help out the jungler in the early game to get his buffs before sticking to our mid-lane mage to rotate and help out in the gold lane. My opinion is that the EXP lane heroes are difficult to heal as most of them are fighters and has some kind of self-sustainability, hence i rarely roam to the EXP lane.
My highest rank achieved is Mythical Immortal at 138 stars and Global Rank 4 as a Hylos. I play solo queue most of the time and occasionally duo or trio with online friends on my friend list. My solo queue win rate is around 58-60%.
My choice of emblem is the Common Emblem because it gives hybrid regeneration. Mana regeneration is important to me as Hylos because it is not optimal to cast skills using HP as a Hylos because you will not be able to tank a lot of damage in the late game.
My talents used:
Agility - 4% movement speed
Wilderness Blessing - 10% bonus movement speed in Jungle or River
Concussive Blast - AOE magic damage on next basic attack.
These talents allow me to always have mana regeneration and superior movement speed when roaming and I will be able to kite and juke the enemy heroes to waste their skills on me and be able to weave in and out of battles.
The Item Builds:
Warrior Boots (when there is a fast hitting marksman) / Tough Boots (When there are a lot of crowd control heroes) / Rapid Boots (When there are heroes without CC but has slow effects)
Dominance Ice - to reduce healing or sustain
Thunderbelt - slow on basic attack and grow hybrid defense indefinitely.
Blade Armor - against most fast hitting marksman
Guardian Helmet - fast hp regeneration outside of battle
Antique Cuirass - against heroes that uses skills as main source of damage
Radiant Armor - against mages with multiple instances of magic damage
Twilight Armor - against burst sources of damage such as Aldous, Lesley, Dyrroth.
Cursed Helmet - against squishy enemy line-up

I was an old Hylos user before the elmbem talents got introduced (where they removed jungle elmbem), I would play him as a jungler and sometimes roam and I had 75% on 80 matches. I got motivated to use him again watching your videos and also I’m finding a lot of Hylos as xp too and guess what? I got absolutely destroyed 😭😭 I did as xp thinking it’ll be fine cuz we had tigreal tank and I had Zhask agaisnt me in xp.. I didn’t throw to him but my mm lane was ganked and smashed, Hylos felt squishy af then..
Welcome back to the path of Hylos. Guess you do need some games to warm up first. My opinion is Hylos is not too great for EXP lane because he clears too slowly versus the meta EXP laners, and Hylos got no sustainability (his ult's regen negligible).
I use hylos while ago....and it's kinda hard😅😅😅
Takes awhile to adjust to it, try it a few more games.

Btw, which tank roamer would you choose if Hylos gets banned? Even though he rarely gets banned, I find that he is so unique, sometimes I struggle to find a backup.
I would take Minotaur or Belerick if I don't have access to Hylos.

Im a hylos main in both servers. (Global rank in advance server) what i like of him the most is he is not very popular in both servers, no worries about him getting banned or picked im always 100% sure that no one will ban or pick him. He can farm with the jungler really fast. Dominace of ice as first def item. Alu,ruby,thamus, and other high sustain heroes will be heartbroken in early games.
No other heroes benefit more with this item. Too bad they removed the cd reduction on DOI.
Same sentiments and thank you for the confirmation. It is so unpopular I always get to pick it. Yes i still remember the year where they removed CDR from DOI, was upset for awhile.
Much better to use Belerick against claude.
Yeah I like Belerick too but I mostly only use Hylos.

Yep.. That guy is right. Radiant armor rendered zhask ult and 1st skill useless, you don't necessarily need to build dominance and thunderbelt first. Itemized based on team comp.. For ex: If opponent's got fanny and Chou on their team buy dreadnought armor first rather than dominance.

Its angela or zuxhin you should worry about. Even with icewand its very hard to chase or escape from the fact that his glorious path is easy to deal with. Zhask ult will post in only 2 locations easy to dodge even if you get stunned.
