I have told my mother about your adventures. She has never had cable TV. And now with it being impossible to watch free TV, she has made a momentous decision. She has decided to get a lap top computer by the end of the year! She has heard me tell her about going to Project Free TV, and watching almost every TV show I want to. My cable was dumped in April because of it. She is 74, and now semi housebound. One of the last things she wanted to do was to visit the last of the 50 states on her list. They are the northern tier and Alaska. I have told her of your adventures, and she can't wait to be able to go through the archive and see it all. Your videos will be the trip she will never be able to make. I hope the 'apartment' is a furnished one. Is it a long stay apartment/hotel? You never know the delays in getting the keys to the house.
The best was the laundry room, I can't wait till snow hits, you've found your place in the world. These videos always make my day, never stop, good or bad times, you're just amazing.

I remember when you used to say that you weren't really that into daily vlogs and you didn't feel comfortable doing them all the time, but you have really gotten so natural and fun to watch and listen to in these vlogs. I think you've figured out a way to make them your own. I love your Alaska adventure so far and the energy and creativity and beauty of the videos. Plus, I can pretend that I'm participating while being curled up under a blanket at home and it gives me the illusion of being active :P

Hey Cory, how does the Bass Pro store compare to the Cabela's in Anchorage? I always preferred Cabela's in northwestern Indiana, but maybe our Bass Pro wasn't a very good representative of the chain. I do find it a bit funny to see that the next closest Cabela's is 1944.3 miles away in Edmonton AB Canada. You DID drive a long way north!!
We have a store like that near me in Texas. It is like going to an amusement park. The fish tanks at the one near me have catfish and bass mostly in it. Oh and alligator gar. It's not a bass pro shop though. It is Cabela's. Same difference I guess. Congrats on the house. Just going to rent or try to own it? You seem happy there so might not be a bad idea to buy a house. I have an elliptical in my house - a recent addition - I have been using it almost daily instead of just sitting to watch my favorite 30 minute shows. Dropped 8 pounds so I am happy. :D - Heidi
Congrats on finding a house. In South Dakota they always cover all the high school sports like that. Including high school bull riding which I didn't even know was a high school sport until moving out here lol.

I love Bass Pro Shops. They're just awesome to go and look. At Christmastime my family got a free picture with Santa there. LoL. It has everything.
