I think you might be wrong about how a Simic Ascendancy interacts with multiple counters on one creature. "(...)put THAT MANY growth counters on Simic Ascendancy."
If I had to choose I would probably add inexorable tide, good fortune unicorn and herald of the secret streams (to get in for damage) and take out grip of phyresis, ishai, and brave the sands. To be honest though the deck plays better the more cohesive the +1/+1 counter theme is so anything that pushes towards that you'll see a difference and anything that isn't a part of that I would take out

I have sage of hours and magistrate's scepter in my atraxa deck. It's not hard to get infinite turns proliferating each turn

If you wanted to add flash without using card slots you could use the lands that do it. Winding canyons, there’s a blue green one and emergence zone
