HOLD UP!!! About the power derating, It's not that simple. It's not just 80% period, end of story. Equipment CAN be rated for 100% load. The same goes for a branch circuit breaker. Most are rated for 80% but there are 100% rated breakers that allow continuous loads up to the limit of the breaker. And there are 100% rated PDUs that allow continuous loads up to the limit of it's current rating as well.
i noticed that though many L-630P are installed in data center racks and the feed(cord) goes underneath the tile(one with square hole) to feed it undergound to an outlet. There are actually 2 sources underneath...redundancy i guess.
power factor is not the ratio of real power to apparent power. power factor is the cosine of the phase angle difference between the voltage and current.
Still relavent, thank you.

Can you use a high voltage vertical pdu and change the plug to a 15amp plug? This would be for small servers and switches.
Amazing video. Thanks.
Thanks for uploading very informative videos, I didn't find the third video, please provide url to that.
www.raritantraining.com/course/view.php?id=233. The original video was created 6 years ago and we're going to update it later this year.
@@TechTrainerNJ Can you link to the updated URL?
野村ERIK for you, it will cost 100 pesos
@ TechTrainer
Thanks for sharing link however it requires Adobe flash player which is discontinued by ADobe. Do you have video in other format ?
Can you post 3rd video on RUclips just like other two ?

I'd like to have this video with the subtitles.
Excellent explanation!
