The Chopin E Minor prelude is perfect for this video. I have a C613 from about 2007 in my collection, which is similar, except it boasts a 6.2 Mpix sensor. What most people don't know is that this is more than the theoretical maximum optical resolution for a sensor this size at the maximum aperture! It is is wonderful, fun, little camera to use, exactly as we see in the video. I love it!

@@theoldcameraguy sometimes I wish they were film cameras, you have more chance of getting a usable image with a plastic 35mm point and shoot than with a 0.8mp digital camera 😉

Nice photos. I have an Olympus digicam with similar specs and output, I think I need to put in my bag again as my daily carry for a week or so...
They are a fun addition to the camera bag.
I feel like those early ‘00s era digital cameras were pretty good, all things considered. The colors were usually nice even when the AE sensors messed up. I used an early Lumix around this time, and was often pleasantly surprised by what you could get. Night and day from the first-gen 90s attempts at digital cameras. Nice shots and thanks for making this!

My Kodak Z730 (5.0 megapixels!) has a similar sensor and, given enough light to work with, makes great images. they put a Schneider Kreuznach lens on the Z730, which is probably its most outstanding feature. CCD all the way!

I recently ordered a copy of my first digital camera, Kodak C360. A year or so newer than yours. I love to use it as a film type camera. The screen is so bad it's useless, so I can't see my photos after I take them. And if you look at it at a slight angle, you see a negative image. 😅 I also don't transfer my photos after every use so it's a surprise when I i do it months later. I found photos of my cat who recently passed away that I didn't know I had!
What a blessing to find some surprise pictures of your late cat!
