Thank you! 😃 Did you see Wyatt’s eyes when he got onto the KTM? His birthday is at the end of December and we were planning on getting him the PW50 for his birthday but maybe the KTM now. When we bought the two new bikes we got a TTR50 for him. Unfortunately when he heard the motor running . He got off and cried and said it didn’t sound like a two stroke. I can’t believe the difference in price from one dealer to the next! Definitely pays to shop around that’s for sure. Whats funny is that I had just bought two bikes from Beaverton Honda and they told me $5,500. They also said that at that price they aren’t making any money on the bike. I called two other dealers and sublimity called me right back and said sure come on down take as many videos as you want and the price was $5,019. That’s amazing that your KX puts out 29HP! Power to weight ratio is through the roof ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻
It actually was shocking how much HP the 85. Power to weight ratio gives it the same power as the 125. 🤩👍🏻😎 I’m actually taking vacation from my job on Wednesday because the weather is going to be perfect for riding and shooting dirt bike videos ❤️😂😂🤩

Just got back from a week in Vail Colorado, ski trip, kids had a great time. (I'm glad I'm home). Smart choice to get ride of your street bike. Not good having a death wish. I had two street bike when I was much younger and lucky to be alive now. Drivers dont pay attention to their surroundings.
Sounds like an awesome trip with the family! Was that a thanksgiving trip for you guys? How fun 😀 I had that R6 for a month or two and I had two scars on it and the last one my sister was with me. I was going over 100 mph and a wind gust pushed us into the other lane and luckily no other car was coming or we would’ve both been killed. I parked it that day and will never get in another one. I honestly think that God saved us both that day. Glad you all made it home safe from your trip and have a great rest of your weekend 🙏🏻😀

They are great bulletproof little biked me and my 3 friends had them as pit bikes a few summers back when he had land. We had about 4 years of really good cheap summer fun on them 😊
I’m having all kinds of problems with my 125. It should not rev that high. That’s a sign that is not jetted correctly. I just got a JD jetting kit for mine and hopefully will be installing this next week off. I think it was dirtbike magazine or racer X talked about the issues. Yamaha was having they said it. It was in the needle position of the taper and they highly recommended the Jd jetting kit to fix the problem. Will see 🤪I’ll keep you posted. The 65 runs better then the 125 but the 85 is perfect 🤩 in the video when we start all three you can hear the difference! Thank you for your comment 👍🏻😎

No we had no problems we have had it since 2007 and first my sister had it an she is now 19 and doesn't ride dirt bikes and then the pw came to me and I love dirt bikes I am now 11 and I've been riding since I was 4 now I currently have a Suzuki jr80 and it went to my brother and he's 8 and has a Honda crf110f and the pw50 still runs perfectly fine

@@zachdowling0520 The yZ85 is standard size and I’m 5’5” The YZ85 LW is almost as tall as the yz125. If you’re tall enough for the yz85 LW I would buy the YZ125. You would be able to ride that for years. Hope that helps and thank you for the question 😎👍🏻

I would get the YZ85 it’s a perfect size for you and you won’t out grow it for a couple years at least. The power is phenomenal and we have had zero issues with it fouling spark plugs. I would also have to say the bike is spunky and it wants to wheelie pretty much anywhere and to be careful because the power ban is explosive 🤘🏻😎👍🏻
We have one coming out December 14th 😎👍🏻 Michael and I ride out TTR110 on a single track on a neighbors property. It was definitely a challenging day but so fun to spend with my son. We are going to break ground on our own track on Tuesday! 💥😎👍🏻
I would definitely get the 125 over the 85. The 125 is a great bike and would fit you way better and would give you tons of room to improve. The 85 would be awesome to learn on but you would be board of it after a month or so. Either way you are going to love riding and I’m super excited for you! ✊🏻👍🏻😎
I would also recommend a 250F maybe even over a 125 2 stroke. The 250f are all fuel injected, electric start, you can idle of them with no problem and they are just as fast if not faster than a 125. I just came off a 2021 YZ250F and man did I like that bike! In fact, I actually miss it and will buy another one some day.
That’s a great point and it was only $200 dollars more. I ended up doing the small wheels so we would be pretty much the same size. This was definitely a good decision for now but definitely not in the long run. We can add the big wheels and the swing arm later but it’s super expensive. You saw Michael sitting on a 110 and he was saying that a clutch on a 65 was hard to learn. I honestly believe anyone can learn within a couple weeks with a clutch. Honestly, though the TTR 110 fits Michael the best and we actually have the most fun on the 110’s riding together than anything else so far. Wait a second…Michael heard me what I was saying and says, “no, actually Dad, the new 65 and 85 are better.”
Highly recommend getting clutch bike makes riding so much more fun like don't get me wrong rev and goes and semi autos are still a lot of fun but riding with a clutch I think ya just feel that power a lot more gives U so much more of a buzz and makes riding more fun plus it's fun while learning how to ride with clutch unless U got the money or can save up gd and get the 110 first then get the 85 so then U will have the choice after all choice is always gd as well
So I can’t see you doing this in the video but you want to really blow the bike out like rev it wide open like twice and then it shouldn’t smoke as much. But love the vids
@@yamahaE6969 That’s a tough question… We might have 4 hrs on the 85 and so far it’s awesome 😎 it has zero bottom end power but the top end is crazy! The carburetor seems to be dialed, we are still on the original spark plug. The back breaks seem a little weak but I’m also 190 lbs. This could be one of the funnest bikes I ridden all that being said it would be cool for you guys all to stay on Yamaha. Honda CRF150 are a sick bike also and four strokes are easier to ride and they’re not temperamental. The power is super smooth and very predictable. That’s a tough choice for sure .. if your dad’s on a 250 2 stroke I think I would stay with a 2 stroke. 😬🤷 which ever bike you decide on it’ll be the right one though. What a fun decision to have to make ✊🏻✊🏻😎

Winter time is the best time to find a deal. Used or new hands down. If you are buying new call 3 or 4 dealerships and let them know that you’re calling multiple dealerships for the best price. That tends to put them in the mood to be more competitive. Hopefully that helps to get a smoking deal 😀😃💪🏻👍🏻

The last year they made them in 2006 dirtbike magazine claimed they had 25 hp and if you put a pipe and silencer and Boyesen Reeds on it you Cana get up to 30hp! That’s pretty amazing 🤩
The 65 or the 125? My 125 is having all kinds of trouble with the jetting. I just ordered a JD jetting kit for it and I’m hoping that’ll help. I’ve tried different oil, gas, jetting and even took it back to the shop. If this doesn’t work I’ll be putting a smart carb on it 🤪😳

When we bought the two new bikes we got a TTR50 for him. Unfortunately when he heard the motor running . He got off and cried and said it didn’t sound like a two stroke. I can’t believe the difference in price from one dealer to the next! Definitely pays to shop around that’s for sure. Whats funny is that I had just bought two bikes from Beaverton Honda and they told me $5,500. They also said that at that price they aren’t making any money on the bike. I called two other dealers and sublimity called me right back and said sure come on down take as many videos as you want and the price was $5,019.

Just got back from a week in Vail Colorado, ski trip, kids had a great time. (I'm glad I'm home). Smart choice to get ride of your street bike. Not good having a death wish. I had two street bike when I was much younger and lucky to be alive now. Drivers dont pay attention to their surroundings.

I had that R6 for a month or two and I had two scars on it and the last one my sister was with me. I was going over 100 mph and a wind gust pushed us into the other lane and luckily no other car was coming or we would’ve both been killed. I parked it that day and will never get in another one. I honestly think that God saved us both that day.

Why do the 125s rev so high when they start, I have a 2023 and was wondering if it is bad for it?
I’m having all kinds of problems with my 125. It should not rev that high. That’s a sign that is not jetted correctly. I just got a JD jetting kit for mine and hopefully will be installing this next week off. I think it was dirtbike magazine or racer X talked about the issues. Yamaha was having they said it. It was in the needle position of the taper and they highly recommended the Jd jetting kit to fix the problem. Will see 🤪I’ll keep you posted.
The 65 runs better then the 125 but the 85 is perfect 🤩 in the video when we start all three you can hear the difference!

No we had no problems we have had it since 2007 and first my sister had it an she is now 19 and doesn't ride dirt bikes and then the pw came to me and I love dirt bikes I am now 11 and I've been riding since I was 4 now I currently have a Suzuki jr80 and it went to my brother and he's 8 and has a Honda crf110f and the pw50 still runs perfectly fine

The YZ85 LW is almost as tall as the yz125. If you’re tall enough for the yz85 LW I would buy the YZ125. You would be able to ride that for years.

there's also a YZ85 LW which means just has bigger wheel set up, Its in the middle between yz85 and yz125 height wise
or you can also add a lowering link on the yz125, that's what i did, it dropped it an inch or 2 but it sure made a big difference in comfort
That’s a great idea! I’m hoping that I’ll ride the 85 for a year and go back to the 125. Only If Michaels is ready to move up and then hopefully eventually Wyatt will get to ride the 65.
Wyatt’s birthday is at the end on December and we were planning on getting the PW50 but ever since we got home all he talks about is the KTM 50. I don’t really know anything about them so today I’ll be watching videos about them 😃👍🏻

I would get the YZ85 it’s a perfect size for you and you won’t out grow it for a couple years at least. The power is phenomenal and we have had zero issues with it fouling spark plugs. I would also have to say the bike is spunky and it wants to wheelie pretty much anywhere and to be careful because the power ban is explosive 🤘🏻😎👍🏻

Im 26 and 5’8 i was thinking about getting a 85 for my first bike because im scared a 125 would be to big for me to learn on
I would definitely get the 125 over the 85. The 125 is a great bike and would fit you way better and would give you tons of room to improve.
The 85 would be awesome to learn on but you would be board of it after a month or so. Either way you are going to love riding and I’m super excited for you! ✊🏻👍🏻😎
I would also recommend a 250F maybe even over a 125 2 stroke. The 250f are all fuel injected, electric start, you can idle of them with no problem and they are just as fast if not faster than a 125. I just came off a 2021 YZ250F and man did I like that bike! In fact, I actually miss it and will buy another one some day.
I would of went with the yz85LW I know Michael would of been to small for him with a big wheel but he could of grown into it and had it longer
That’s a great point and it was only $200 dollars more. I ended up doing the small wheels so we would be pretty much the same size. This was definitely a good decision for now but definitely not in the long run. We can add the big wheels and the swing arm later but it’s super expensive. I would get an 85 but never rode clutch so probs getting 110 but need like 2000 extra money
You saw Michael sitting on a 110 and he was saying that a clutch on a 65 was hard to learn. I honestly believe anyone can learn within a couple weeks with a clutch.
Honestly, though the TTR 110 fits Michael the best and we actually have the most fun on the 110’s riding together than anything else so far. Wait a second…Michael heard me what I was saying and says, “no, actually Dad, the new 65 and 85 are better.”
Highly recommend getting clutch bike makes riding so much more fun like don't get me wrong rev and goes and semi autos are still a lot of fun but riding with a clutch I think ya just feel that power a lot more gives U so much more of a buzz and makes riding more fun plus it's fun while learning how to ride with clutch unless U got the money or can save up gd and get the 110 first then get the 85 so then U will have the choice after all choice is always gd as well

My brother has a PW 50 I have a TTR 110 Yamaha my dad has a Yamaha 250. What do you think I should get YZ 85 or CRF 150?
@@yamahaE6969 That’s a tough question… We might have 4 hrs on the 85 and so far it’s awesome 😎 it has zero bottom end power but the top end is crazy! The carburetor seems to be dialed, we are still on the original spark plug. The back breaks seem a little weak but I’m also 190 lbs. This could be one of the funnest bikes I ridden all that being said it would be cool for you guys all to stay on Yamaha.
Honda CRF150 are a sick bike also and four strokes are easier to ride and they’re not temperamental. The power is super smooth and very predictable. That’s a tough choice for sure .. if your dad’s on a 250 2 stroke I think I would stay with a 2 stroke. 😬🤷 which ever bike you decide on it’ll be the right one though. What a fun decision to have to make ✊🏻✊🏻😎

Winter time is the best time to find a deal. Used or new hands down. If you are buying new call 3 or 4 dealerships and let them know that you’re calling multiple dealerships for the best price. That tends to put them in the mood to be more competitive. Hopefully that helps to get a smoking deal 😀😃💪🏻👍🏻

The 65 or the 125? My 125 is having all kinds of trouble with the jetting. I just ordered a JD jetting kit for it and I’m hoping that’ll help. I’ve tried different oil, gas, jetting and even took it back to the shop. If this doesn’t work I’ll be putting a smart carb on it 🤪😳
