Episode three of Ultraman Decker is good. I like that all of the characters has something to do in this episode. I like that there were references to Ultramen Dyna. Everything that happened in this episode felt real. The actors did a great job in making their characters feel like actual people. Nothing felt rushed. The red looks nice on Ultraman Decker in his new form. I like that he got the new form to protect the humans still in the hospital. Yuichiro is a character I want to learn more about. Since he has a mysterious aura and something about him reminds me of Ignis from Ultraman Trigger.
Ultraman Decker is actually establishing a great story starting from the training > onboarding > to actual mission. I hate to compare, but versus with Ultraman Trigger where out of nowhere, Kengo wants to make everybody smile, smile, and the story and characters are quite usual. Trigger doesn't really have a goal of where the story is going, but Decker is something and interesting that you would expect what the next episode would be. Plus Decker's design is unique, the shoulder pads in the left side, and then the boots armor on the right side... Exquisite!
While I do admit that Decker's Strong Type has a great design especially how powerful he's showcased as, his lack of a bulkier body build pretty much disappoints me. Look a side by side with Trigger's Power Type, all I can say is... "Decker's Strong Type needs to hit the gym more often, he's gonna cry looking at Trigger's Power Type, let alone Dyna's Strong Type"
In Dyna some Sphere-Kaijus were called Neo such as Neo-Darambia,Neo-Geomos & Neo-Gaigaraid & now in Decker they just Called Sphere such as Sphere-Gomora & Sphere-Megalothor
It’s a shame Gomora is the punching bag of the episode again. But at the same time it’s nice to see him fire his super osculatory wave again and I love how they say he’s not an overly violent monster. It’s just nice to see them at least acknowledge it and I like how they gave him a new variety too
-OH NURSEDESSEI LOOKS SO GOOD -Its weird how the GUTS Sparklence is abscent here considering how powerful it actually is and it also kinda sucks that it also means almost everything about the previous GUTS Select is wiped for no reason so i hope they explain that -Seeing the production update old designs is actually so respectable and they didnt hold back too. Easily one of the most creative ways Zero has shown up in a series. Because Ultraman Zero has to appear in a New Generation series. Even if it's an actor who played him before.
I have a question. Why does every new gen Ultraman show kinda...restarts the entire universe? Like none of the other Ultraman shows never existed? They just keep calling the Ultras "Ultraman" and that's it.
Except for Decker and Trigger, its because they’re on different Earths, which I think is caused by King literally resetting the entire universe because Belial destroyed it using a bomb. As for Decker and Trigger, they’re in the same universe and on the same Earth, but the reason why they called Decker just “Ultraman” is because they didn’t have a name for him yet, until Kanata brought up his name
