Thank you so much for the info at 6:33. I am thinking about buying a Reolink system but was worried about having on 1 HDD. Good to see Reolink cam firmware allow dual recording both to the NVR and FTP.
I've got both Reolink Cameras. The Dual 4K camera is pretty amazing. I love the wide view and color night vision. The spotlight is also a nice touch to scare away the bad guys.
i have a CX 410 out front on the driveway where it excels with the ambient lights (carriage lights from other houses, streetlights) and the spotlight isn't needed; versus out back of a house where there is often zero ambient light
I just added 2x E1 Pros and I am liking them so far. Better image quality, better low-light performance and they support RSTP and ONVIF (non-T). I was finally able to add a couple of indoor cameras to HomeKit using Scrypted! I really like the Reolink cameras for their many options and ease of use. Next, I plan on getting the 32 channel NVR just to have the options lol.
look at that good pup! I have two germans and a yard full of cats, chickens, pigs, and turkeys. This will be interesting to see if I can even use the motion option. I am thinking 4x Duo flood lights, 2x CX-810, and 4TB NVR.
We have 2 CX410s, 1 CX410W, and they constantly trigger. They are triggering on parked vehicles, with street lights, LEDs. It seems to either be high glossy car paint or the glass windows as, "Any Motion", not labled "Vehicle". So the Vehicle settings will not help. They need to add Any Motion, with Person, Animal, Vehicle. That water I would bet is setting it off. There is an option in the Android app, beta feature, to "blue box" the area causing the triggering.
Since you have a synology nas already, why not use their Surveillance Station app? Recordings would end up on your raid array and you wouldn't have to use an FTP server. I'm not super familiar with the synology offering but that's what I do with QNAP's QVR Pro app and the experience is much better than the reolink app.
I have to say the Duo 3 was highly disappointing, and my 811A's out class it. The Duo 3 looks like a Ring Doorbell if you try to determine what you are looking at. My Duo Gen 1 you could at least make out a face at 20ft.
Interested in testing out a Reolink with Frigate at some point!
I'd love to see it!

@2:30 you're the first person to ask real questions. 💖💖 Sadly you were the first person to admit it can't change FPS, but it's super helpful!

There is a difference in vertical FOV between the Duo 2 & 3 with the 2 having a 5° advantage over the 3...

I don’t wanna pay for the license lol
@@RaidOwlmost synology NAS comes with 2 free license.
I am sure is is a reflection off your pool setting off the lights.
I am once again asking for a comparison video between Reolink and Ubiquiti cameras with their NVR options.
How are you storing footage from the solar powered cameras? I have the same ones.
SD card
do a review for the cx810 bro
Hi. Just found your channel. Pretty cool. What are your thoughts about Lorex?
Whats the best poe camera setup under 2k?
We need to see more Doggo!
Woof
@@RaidOwl 🤣every time they were in a shot I stopped listening. lol
Ah shii, here we reolink again.
Oh no…🤦🏻♂️
I love the dual camera from a practical standpoint. But damn. It’s FREAKING UGLY! I have no idea why it has to be as big as wall-e’s head?????

Duo 3 is better than duo 2 buddy
🤩🤩
Change playback speed to 1.25x. You’re welcome.
1.5x you coward
1.25x is my default
Guess you might have to update again, given that the cx810 is out lol
the 410 is still better.
