At 7:49 or 7:50, you can use the bottom of your lighter to flatten it too.

Can't believe you didn't have him make you a whistle drop for that Lanyard, due to the fact your going to be (probably) running a dog this year, and will need it! :-)

Actually it’s not. He goes too fast and let’s his fingers, hands, and arm get in the way. And, the camera is too far away.
Trust me, there’s another guy on RUclips that goes much slower and has the camera right on top of what he’s doing.

Can't believe you don't put a breakaway on it. That braided ring of cord probably has a 15k lbs breaking point by the time it's done. 2 turns of bankline joining end loops on the braid would make that much safer and it would still have more than casual strength. Just sayin. You slip out of a blind and that gets hooked higher than you fall, you'll regret making it that solid.

I've been debating if I should buy a lanyard for my first time out this next season, cause I'm only bringing 1 teal and 1 BG. Hard to find a lanyard i like cause I've never owned one before. A buddy of mine tells me he mostly just puts his calls in his pocket, so I take that into consideration.
I have a lot of time till the season so probably gonna be making one, now that I've seen this. Looks like fun!
    Thanks guys!☝️🇺🇸

Great video but little something I started making was putting a single loop on the very end so u can hook up your dog shock collar to it that way it's one less lanyard around ur neck and itll no longer tangle with ur calls

What is the weave called that you use at the bottom of the lanyard to join the 2 ends together? Is it possible to do the whole lanyard using that weave?
