I gotta disagree with you on some of these renewables...certain countries and states are scaling back on wind and solar because of the costs, inconsistent energy delivery and inability to store the energy. Many car companies are scaling back EV production and the public is starting to sour on EV. It doesn't cost less and isn't better for the environment when you consider what mining cobalt, lithium, etc does to the earth and air.

Agree. It's not about saving the environment. It's about virtue signaling and pretending you care / are doing something. If they cared they'd be attacking China/India/Africa hard and fast. But they don't bow to complainers so there's "no money in it"

When you Google him, it says he is a Kiwi, but he has an American accent. Guessing he is American by birth and moved to New Zealand in the last few years (if indeed he is living in New Zealand). Noticed he makes reference to the UK quite a bit, which is unlikely for someone in the US but more common for someone living in Australia or New Zealand since both countries share a lot culturally with the UK.
