I think the best way to explain why I love your band so much is that you understand that the mundane can be sublime. Listening to your music and vocals just makes me feel like the type of happy of being young and home on a Sunday afternoon - nothing pressing me, free to be me and explore what I enjoy (random thread: what I enjoyed back then on Sunday afternoons was watching a NZ syndication show called The Tribe, which launched my love of NZ artists!). Your lyrics reinforce this, because they are so incredibly relatable but profound. The only other artist I feel this for at all is Ben Folds, but his style is not as comforting as yours.
I'm so sad I couldn't make your Atlanta show - hopefully next time you're stateside I can make it!
