also for those who dont know, the pudding isnt expired. it said 2023 11/24 but in asian countries, correct me if im wrong, they usually list the production date and will tell you how long its good for.
in my country they usually only list the expiry date for the 7 eleven food
depends from food to food and i belive ant went to taiwan last year instead of 2024

Despite of how much I see Japanese and Korean convenience store content in my reels, Taiwanese convenience store always has a place in my heart. 🥰It's so nice and nostalgic seeing contents filmed in Taiwan from a non-Chinese focused content creator. I always love this kind of content, kinda shows how the whole 'oh these are better no these are!!' when it comes to products, is more of an area thing than anything. Like a lot of the 'variety' you find in Asia is there bc... you can only find it in Asia to begin with LMAO so ofc you're never gonna find it outside of it. The rest unless its an actually shitty store with bad conditions, goes to customer service instead.

If you ever go east Asia to try the 7-eleven food again, I’d recommend actually trying their ready-to-eat meals (the ones that need to be microwaved before they’re ready) and their over the counter cooked foods

I recently came back from visiting family in Taiwan as well, it’s been since 10 years since I last went back.And man I miss everything there and I cannot explain my how convenient it is, the food selection there and just the general experience. It was difficult to convey that experience to my friends but your video came just at the right time!! I literally go to either 7-11 and family mart every night while I was there 😂

from experience 7/11 in (richer) areas have a much better.. healthyishhh selection of foods.. i would still never eat their hot foods but the to go stuff are not too shabby

As a Taiwanese myself, I would say ppl here hardly microwave the onigiri before eating it (maybe you can think it as sushi)

Just that chicken rice onigiri just seems like a flavour that would work better if warmed up beforehand (also, his comment bout the onigiri being dry would prob have been solved by a quick round in the microwave with a bowl of water on the side)
