There are no words that describe how much i love this band. They are just flat out amazing, hands down my favorite band. It hurts to see them say goodbye to Ville Vanni, but Markus Vanhala is an awesome guy and musician. Ephemeral is gonna be just as amazing as the other albums or even more amazing.
Ville wrote Into The Woods, my favorite song of all time.
I will never thank you enough for that, Ville.

This nature - preferring band, I like their atmosphere, lyrics(the most), and their ability to combine the overall atmosphere of the lyrics and melodies. Total love.
I have no words to say how great you are as artists and persons. Your art makes me shiver and shed tears. RESPECT.
Ville left because he had no time for the band.
He and his wife were about to get their first son and he had a surgeon’s career to take care of aswell.
It's sad but I hope he is happy with his life now, it couldn't have been an easy decision to make.
They must release these acoustic songs. They are so beautiful

I remember seeing them in 2011 in Joensuu, which was the first of Ville Vänni's two last shows with the band. It was epic.

In different times of my life I held on to an Insomnium song. Lose To Night for fighting my depresion after a break up (which I have a huge tattoo of it) and now is One For Sorrow for my bf and the pain of living abroad and all the trouble it brings not to be together. Now that song is helping me to be alive.
So glad you guys covered Ville V's leaving. I remember when you guys announced it, was so unexpected but he has really good reasons and good luck to his family and career. I can't wait to see how Markus V will influence the new album!

Marcus really pushed the band on another level! But some kind of feeling is lost since ville has gone. From the neighborhood-GarageBand to the international superband. Awesome great music, somehow bigger than before.
