Creta Maris Evacuation Drill 2022: Caring is Preparing

The 10th annual Evacuation Drill is a hallmark and a landmark event for both the people of Creta Maris Beach Resort and the Cretan public forces including firefighters, medics, and crisis services, aiming for the preparedness of our resort and Crete in response to natural contingencies.
This year, taking on an even more enhanced role as a subject of study, the Creta Maris Evacuation Drill is included in the Applied Field Seminar CretaProtect: "Environmental, Risk and Crisis Management in an island environment", with the participation of the University of Athens' postgraduate programme in "Environmental, Disaster and Crisis Management Strategies".
We'll be tackling an earthquake scenario custom-crafted for us by an expert in the field: Dr. Efthimios Lekkas, Professor of Dynamic Tectonic Applied Geology & Disaster Management at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
