Wow I’m 50 and I knew about strobing at 11 years old. Ya had to go to someone to set it up in those days! 💰

The old tuners like the one in the vid are the best! They are far superior to the digital tuners of today. I have that exact tuner and I'll never use my digital Peterson tuner again.

Peterson also makes a smaller stomp box size tuner that I just purchased called the Strobostomp HD. Their customer support is awesome. Far more accurate than traditional tuners.

That strobe tuner is more accurate than all your tuners combined. Peterson make extremely accurate tuners.

some chromatics have this mode as an option, I activated it on my Boss TU-3 once accidentally. Not a fan of it tbh. doesn't seem to ever get in tune; must be an insane level of accuracy.
