    I saw this when it was released and positively loved it, I ended up buying a copy on VHS direct from NHPTV in the mid 90's. So glad to see it available online!

    This is the first film of yours I ever saw. Liked it then, got hooked, and still like it now after about 100 views.

    what a wonderful documentary, yes that man who shot the bear for sport , should have defiantly thank the bear and ate the meat, maybe a few drops of tobacco on the bear I hate hunters who just shoot for sport . I admire your respect of nature . the scene of you with the baby bears was so beautiful you are so blessed to have been able to do this .

    Watching in July, ‘23……..anybody know how these Eastern rivers are doing now?? Hopefully still on the mend.
