Really cool sound effects. Better than the other concept album sound effects I think it feels a lot more relaxed and normal. The album is almost a little psychedelic with the beginning of the album and this track. Very much like a dream.

There is no Dream Theater song with an irrational number time signature. Even Ferneyhough, the king if academic new complexity has never got beyond 10/7 or 7/10 time signatures. Prog music is pop music in the end. New complexity is definitely no pop music.
But there is another postmodern academic composer who really did get into the realms of really irrational fractions for time signatures. He's called Iannis Xenakis.

So what does everyone think about the new album? I used to like dream theater back in the 90s and early 2000s but they seem so redundant now.
I think every band that goes on for so long ends up repeating itself a lot
But regardless of that, they always find a way to sound creative, and even though some of their work in recent years may sound weaker than the classical albums, it's still worth listening to them. You'll always find something you like, and it's ALWAYS better than the majority of modern music
For all haters, listen to me (read my comment) : We can't claim that all current designs use AI. The character of a band like Dream Theater is hardworking, they don't want to create a work instantly, including design. Their early albums on average have a design nuance like that. Although AI technology is now sophisticated, we can't judge that all designs use AI.
