Since this is an amazing tool with a crazy amount of potential, I just can't understand why are you still a one man show on this Matt? Is it the industry that doesn't seem to understand and invest in this or is it your personal preference?
What happened to all of the light modifiers and different lamps? Also would be great to have a copy/paste option for duplicating walls or lighting setups.
Camera animation is a thing cinetracer 1 really lacked for me (2 points never were enough), it's so cool you are doing it here! If we could also control how many seconds camera are moving from point A to point B and then separately to point C and so on it would be very helpful. I use this feature a lot in twinmotion for example P. S.: You are the best, keep up the good work!
Sorry for my English. When will the lighting system change? It does not work correctly in reflections (the reflection of light from the table illuminates everything around when you catch the reflection with the camera). I had a screenshot, but I don't know where to send it. I would like settings like version 1
If you send it to @Cinetracer on Instagram I can check it out. This is Unreal Engine UE5 software Lumen at work for lighting. The only thing not enabled yet would be hardware ray tracing which is only for PC / Nvidia cards.
Hey guys, can I have a bit infor of what GPU you guys using ? Mine is 3060 12GB, and by simply run CT2, the GPU is 100%. Do you guys have any tips or trick to help reduce the setting in CT2 or should I buy new graphic card ?
What settings are you playing on? Definitely recommend 1080p or 1440p max with most GPUs. You can also turn down the quality settings a bit. Especially with lights, the game requires a lot of resources to run.
Perhaps next update, I’m going to try out a new GLTF importer to start

@@CineTracer Yeah, I bought the original CT way back, but decided I wanted to get back into it again. And previs for larger/outdoor environments would help me a lot :)
Scenes and multi select are amazing! Keep up the good work and thank you!

Can we import .obj files yet in CT2? Would love to bring in some of my LiDAR scans.
CT2 can now import GLTF format 3D files. There is a new video on the recommended workflow.

can we change the color of the wall?
the assets in the Building Category can have their materials changed. Any of the pre-built maps cannot have their materials changed.
When it will be allowed to add own environment?

Does controller work for this yet?
I have it on my steam deck and if you were able to get the controls to work that would be the coolest thing ever
Since the "Editor" redesign controller support has been dropped. We may add a controller supported mode back in the future.
