A long time ago, there was a brave young man named Veervara, who loved adventure. One time, while wandering far away, he encounters a large snake, who is the king of the snakes, Sarpraj. Veervara fights Sarpraj and manages to escape. Impressed by his bravery, Sarpraj seeks his help and tells him about a vulture named Changula who comes and eats the snakes. Sarpraj asks for Veervara’s help. Veervara agrees to help and, with his courage and intelligence, defeats Changula. Sarpraj, pleased with Veervara, gives him plenty of food, including a dish that Veervara particularly likes. When Veervara asks about it, Sarpraj tells him that the grain is called "wheat" and is only found in Sarplok. Veervara asks for some wheat, takes it back to his world, and cultivates it. This is how wheat comes to be available to people outside Sarplok.
