- With the triumphant return of éS to CCS, we decided to link up with resident flat ground wizard and éS pro, Tom Asta, and put him in a brand new pair of the most technologically advanced shoes that éS is making right now. Tom wasted no time putting the Thermothane toe cap on the éS Sesla to the test, doing 100 kickflips in a row. Well, he actually did 101 just to prove a point. He could probably do 300 in a row if we wanted to, but we didn’t have that much time and he did skate in the worlds largest skateboard contest like 12 hours before this, so we gave him a break. See how the Sesla’s held up to Tom’s flick and grab yourself a pair at CCS!

These shoes are rad, I went running in them once in the rain and the foam is actually really bouncy which I never noticed skating.
everyone is saying that these shoes are ugly but I disagree. I can see why people would say that but watching Asta's style with them just matched. Its like its made for him. It looks so damn good on him and would love to see a whole mini part in just these shoes. I don't know. I just might invest in a pair myself.

Kids today like their shoes to be as simple, basic, cheap garbage as possible for some reason. Most skate shoes these days are paper thin crap that provides zero comfort or durability. The shoes skaters wear nowadays are the type of shoes skaters would've thrown in the trash when I was young because they SUCK. It's more about look than function now, which is lame af. And imo most of these crappy shoes they wear today dont even have a good look. 99% of them look like some wannabe Vans or wannabe Janoski Nikes.

I have a pair and I haven't skated them yet but they're some of the most comfortable and lightest skate shoes I've ever had....I've been skating for 20 years so that says a lot.

ES's new releases are so good. I've mostly stuck to Sal's and the accel slim. But I'll def give these a try asap.

ive always wanted to like ES but having skated their accelerates 10 plus years ago and skating the accel squares a year ago ive seen in all that time the shoes have remained garbage quality. One of them even ripped after like 20 kickflips (stitching in toe came undone) This test alone should show you as they are already showing heavy signs of use after just 100 kickflips.... factor in ollies and other flips tricks and they wont last 2 weeks and cost 100$. Even Asta seemed embarrassed they were already coming apart at the toe. Vans Crocketts and slip ons pros ive found to be the best skate shoes that last and look sick

This is the only episode where I was doubting whether the video was real or not cuz the shoe legit looks like nothing happened to them 100 kickflip in but then again this shoe along with the other sole tech shoes (manana) that use that rubber thing all last crazy long which I don’t understand why they don’t use that on every shoe they make.
