one thing that would piss the eldar off is that they empowered the mon kheig, but would indeed be a good time to pitch an alliance and rescue guilliman, perhaps they could convince mankind to leave the milkway or they , after being helped could leave and let the galaxy for humanity, while they rebuild somewhere else.
Cegorach laughing at Slaneesh even as he is being consumed would be such a haunting yet emotionally uplifting scene hopefully something like that does come true
Edit: It would be even better if his faint laughter echoes throughout Slaneesh's realm forever
That'd be that *good* Grimdark shit.
Tzeentch snickering in the distance along with the Clown himself
No.
Cegorach definitely ought to have the last laugh on Slaanesh, and it's probably going to end with Ynnead consuming or gutting Slaanesh for the souls of the Eldar
“And ever afterward, though most would lose themselves in the sounds of pleasure, many others began to perceive the faintest hints of laughter, playing at the corners of their awareness. Through halls of sensuous moans, through fathoms of depthless pleasure, it echoed. Laughing. Always laughing, as of one who has performed quite the remarkable jest…”
In Canon, the Eldar are gonna show up for the sword and find a hastily written note from Cato Sicarius mentioning how he, with courage and honor, retrieved the sword for funsies
you mean "he Cato Sicarius, with courage on honor..."
Or Sly Marbo with just walk in grab it the casually hand it over
Bloody Magpies will have stole it and somehow get a 4 way duel for it.
Nah, a note will have been left by Trayzn with just a middle finger and a "sorry forgot to mention lol"

I don't read 40k novels... I would read this eagerly. Good job Majorkill. This was a good one.
Yup. Same.
As someone who has never read an eldar novel, this makes me want to read an eldar novel
I’d give the Ynnari novels a miss unless you’ve got nothing better to read. As a fan of the Eldar it pains me to say this, but with a few exceptions there just plain boring. So bad in fact that GW actually cancelled the 3rd book because of the poor sales of the other 2. What was likely going to happen in the third was then folded into Psychic Awakening. The Ynnari as a whole concept are a mess. GW tried essentially to create a whole new faction by allowing Eldar and Dark Eldar players to mix their units instead of bringing out a whole new codex, faction and model set. Then wondered why the Eldar weren’t selling like a new faction with new models and lore.
You should really read them I've read over 300 it's worth it
Most of them are cool. Some are bad. Many are awesome! Don't forget that many top lore moments you hear thanks to majorkill came from the books
This also gives a canon reason for the Harlequins being nerfed on the tabletop recently. Without The Laughing God, their strength is greatly diminished and they’ve been left directionless. A cruel but necessary sacrifice.
Nah, the Laughing god can not die. He is the Joker of the entire Warhammer 40k universe.
Also, The Harlequins have been nerfed for a long time. The death of the Laughing god would not make sense on why they were nerfed on the table top.
@Cain Abel maybe he is reborn with a fusion of his trusted Solitaires. Or he left a piece of himself behind.
The nerf could be explained with him separating himself to execute this suicide plan or just saving his strength for this battle
@@cainabel6356 why can he not die us it story reason or is it like joker to batman theres no punchline?
The entire Ynnari gave Eldars false hope to fuel Slaanesh' hunger for suffering
Just like Majorkill did to us with this video
I feel like the despair might be nurgle's schtick.
@@chandraray7798 the emotional spectrums extremes all fuel slaanesh. they're the prince of excess..in all forms that excess may take. nurgle..suprisingly. actually tends to relieve the ones afflicted by disease from their dispair even if that way isnt al that pleasant in the slightest.

Ngl the idea that the Ynnaeri having finished their mission for the Croneswords and closing the Emperor's webway portal which then leads to him being able to save Roboute would have been amazing story telling.
This is actually a really good idea. Especially when it helps the emperor and the eldar. Potentially setting up a more universal team up even if it’s very tense between the 2. You should do more of these majorkill, i was a big fan of your fixing the end times series.
Shame they'll never use it.
@@Nyghtking And it would be good as well but nope GW won't allow it.
@@Nyghtking I can understand on one point that if this would've happen, it is implying that that the End is near for the Warhammer 40k Universe. And as we all know, GW and their love for wrong decisions would milk this Universe until the cow is nothing but bones.
@@quack9355 I mean, not really, the Emperor is empowered either way, whether the Human Webway is closed or by the Great Rift. The Eldar probably won't do much more even if they manage to revive Ynnead, which is something that GW can further complicate if they really want to avoid it. And if the Eldar become resurgent, then the Necrons might put them higher on their priority list due to the ancient rivalry, etc...

@@Njordin2010 I have.
It's really quite a lot of work. But then we have to look at what Gw delivers. When we look at it, we almost never really have anything beyond a rough compilation and vague descriptions. From an objective point of view, most, not all, but most of the stories are pretty bad. I could get something like that done with a rough guide in two to three months if I wrote 2-3 hours a day (I'm talking about an 800-page book, not these 300-page booklets). For this kind of books you don't need talent or ability, just perseverance. I'm sure Majorkill could do it if he really wanted to.
I like the idea of both the webway being closed and the great rift opening up empowering big E
Something I would've done is that the shalaxti SAYS that it was a small amount of her power and taunts them but in a inner monolog we see that it was the real shalaxti and she was actually concerned.
I still think it should have been fulgrim himself, you can bring him back too of he's needed later but I wouldn't put it past the best the eldar have to take out a traitor primarchs if a single gray knight can carve his name on mortarion's heart
I think the Emperor would notice the commotion in Slaanesh's realm, and after noticing that the Eldar have retrieved their last Crone Sword and set on the path to the Imperial Palace by Kek-gorach. He would know the salvation of Holy Terra is at hand and immediately set the Legion of the Damned and his Custodes into the breach, not allowing this opportunity be delayed or threatened. But shortly after sealing the webway, Slaanesh make a desperate attempt to stop the Eldar by starting a second assault on Terra. In desperation and with the power boost from the death of the Laughing God, this second siege of Terra would rival or even make the attack by Khorne look insignificant. However with webway sealed, the Emperor could now directly assist his sons in battle, ending the siege much faster.
From this point on, things wouldn't be going smoothly. The Chaos Gods know their Great Game is threatened more than ever, so they would make efforts to stop all petty squabbles between traitor legions to focus on Terra and the Ynnari. Demon and traitor attacks would ramp up by a significant margin, even the traitor primarchs would be called to battle.
this would be awesome and change up the lore to be really interesting. especially seeing big E actually do something after 10,000 years and clap some horny demons would honestly be the coolest fucking thing ever.
This is honestly a good follow up ❤
Yup, and the imperium lives only because big e finally has some free capacities and is SLOWLY clawing back shard of himself.
@@darthdistix1895 yeah and we'd just need to have Russ bust Isha out to watch the 4 of them collectively shit themselves when she heal the Big E
and with his pwoer boost he could actually try to contact the remaing primarchs, like managing to guide the khan or russ into terra, and possibly bringing back the lion setting the stages to the second largest conflict since the horus heresy
At one point the Supreme Grand Master of the Grey Knights, Kaldor Draigo, was spoken of going to the Pleasure Palace. How great would it be if he was able to join the Ynnari in their fight and aid them in their arrival on Terra?
having him help them escape would be pretty cool
Draigo better be wearing a skull knight helmet as he charges in from the ceiling to stab Slaanesh
I can imagine the scene where Ynnari meet Kaldor.
After a few hours of traversing palace of Slaanesh they see his figure. Noticing the Eldars grey knight start to aproach them. Not knowing if they can trust the grey knight all of the Ynnary tense and prepare for a fight. Then silently Maugan Ra goes forward.
Phoenix Lord and grey knight look at each other for a few minutes, and then in unison shake hands.
"Kaldor Draigo You son of a bitch"
@@vladpw123 and proceeds to air arm wrestle that almost caused an earthquake
Throwing in a comment by Kaldor that 'I wondered when you would get here.' to suggest the Emperor was involved in Ceagorach's plans and positioned an incorruptable sword to aid them (explaining why Kaldor never wanted to be retrieved) would tie nicely into a 'big time plans going down' theme.
Honestly this would have been an absolutely god-tier storyline, and would have honestly made the entire setting so much better, and not just made the Eldar a much bigger player again, but would have also given more credence to the Emperor now having enough power and attention freed up to basically just say "no" to Nurgle killing Guilliman and setting Nurgle's gardens on fire.
Cegorach dying like that is such a epic 40k moment and it would be nice to have not just space marines get those style of moments.
Maybe Cegorach and Rylanor can meet up in the afterlife to laugh their asses off at Slaanesh and its minions.
6:28 Yncarne just wanted to go for a walk.
A very enthusiastic walk.
A very enthusiastic walk where there's Slaaneshi Daemonettes?
Well now Yvraine sounds like Integra Hellsing in my head.
This is very much a positive.
And kill horny homicidal daemons?
Wouldn't the permanent closure of the webway free the emperor to be reborn physically? Yes he's probably mega fucked up from 10,000 years on the throne and being mortally wounded by an angry bald man, but it always seemed like to me that the constant need to hold the webway shut was the one thing preventing the emperor from being able to collect himself, heal, and rejoin the fight again personally
it might take a long time, like a century for him to regenerate back to his sex icon form
one problem is the big E is still fighting the chaos gods even without the webway hole. the eye of terror is still at thing, and its only been kept in check as is by the emperor fighting the chaos gods, limiting their power. So the big E may still struggle to truly regenerate if much of his will is still focused on the eye of terror
He would still need to be there to light the astronomomicon tho right? He can't leave and just strand all the imperium's ships
@@d.n5287 During the great crusade he kept the astronomicon lit while also walking around and leading the Imperium. Dude was that OP that he could keep the astronomicon lit as a background task. His battle with Horus but mostly the need to keep the webway shut is what has trapped him on the throne
Really like how the end ties back into the start where the eldar actions have a greater ripple effect than perhaps even they intended
Yvraine: "Ok guys, we're inside the Imperial Palace, which has some of the most powerful beings in the galaxy. So we have to handle this very delicately and diplomatically."
Everyone else: "Right!"
*Ynnari starts killing the Custodes and the High Lords.*
that would be real funny till the Big E got off his throne as the webway hole was sealed and now he has some psychic energy to spare. yvraine may be awesome but custodes plus the big E deciding some crazy shit is going down and he needs to do something would change the game
all fun and games till the emperor stands up
Yvraine"sigh..... it's no wonder our race is doomed"
Can you imagine Guilliman introducing Yvraine to Big E.
I read it an my feeling is Yvraine would instantly call out for Guilleman once in the throne room. The only Human She might actually desire to see and speak to. Just by "chance" G-man is present and answers. The scene weirdly reading like a romantic meeting. Yvraine, holds up the Crone sword saying with, what even the Custodes feel is deserved pride and hope, "Now we can beat them." Just as she says those words a psychic echo can be heard as the Emperor agrees, only his ideas being conveyed as he just now is gathering his thoughts into coherent communications.
Guilleman escorts Yvraine out, having been directed to do so my the Emperor, and opening the great Golden Gates calls out for the worshipers to hear, "TODAY A FINAL LASTING VICTORY IS NOW POSSIBLE! GO! SING IT TO ALL! WE WILL WIN!!!"
A lot of heart attacks claim a lot of lives at that moment but even their jubilation reverberates across the warp and every Human Psyker sings out as well. Even the Grey Knights. The Eldar pick upon this and are filled with new hope and zeal.
Guilleman and Yvraine look back to each other. They look like they will... Simultaneously exclaim "No Kissing!" both turning away trying very hard not to look embarrassed.. The Emperor radiates approval and a touch of amusement.
I love this idea! Also, the ending has me want to see this happen in a TTS verse so we see TTS Emperor react to a bunch of Eldar showing up in his throne room.
TTS Dorn proceeding to re-install the palace again to prevent such a thing from happening again.

@@hercules2342 bro said what
Having both Khaine and Cegorach taking a direct role in bringing about the birth of Ynnead sounds epic. Only wish Isha could have helped and that the Laughing God survived long enough for at least one more grand Joke.
I know they don't get views, but Majorkill's "Doing the End Times right" videos literally changed how I think about media.
He's *weirdly* good at this, and getting another one about my favorite faction is fantastic.
I can't help but feel bad about the loss of Cegorach, but you could work around that too: maybe explore exactly how far Ynnead's power extends already, with a "gone, but only for now" element that adds urgency to everything the Harlequins do, while also firming support for the Ynnari since their god's return is tied to the Ynnari's success. Much as losing the Laughing God for the *chance* of final victory over Slaanesh, especially that way, is some *quality* bittersweet.
What do you mean they didn’t get any views. They had enough of a following that people kept going asking when it will come back in the comments, myself included. It got to the point where Majorkill had to make a video explaining his reasons why he had to discontinue the series.
@@patrickmcginty3234 I mean, I'm paraphrasing Majorkill. Honestly, discovering I'm that wrong about it just kind of makes my night, so thanks for?
Still, I find it a damn shame that he's not continuing to hone his fanfiction ideas. The guy's clearly got talent for it.
I think the reason why he doesn't do it often is because it would have him compete with channels that are already well established in this niche, such as Baldemort and the Amber King.
@@patrickmcginty3234 Which is what a secondary channel exclusive to that content could be for. A channel only updated periodically, as opposed to the main channels regular updates.
@@Sorain1 Then let's hope that there are enough subscribers on this channel that think this would be a cool idea in order to convince Majorkill to consider branching out in this area.
as a toaster enthusiast, i think your lore is a great idea. it keeps everyone involved looking super strong, slaanesh brought low by a character flaw is deliciously ironic after trying to do the same to the heros, and boosting the emp by closing the webway gate freeing up some power would be incredible
also, would free up some additional forces, like the titans guarding the gate 24/7
This storyline could also possibly lead into more Gulliman and Yvraine interactions aswell which is always a massive plus
I may be a heretic, but I still ship those two
Guilliman + hot Roguetrader > Guilliman + Yvraine
yes Guilliman in an ultra marine so this would have made them succeed those guys always succeed
Man, you should become a writer for GW, would love to see your idea actually become canon, keep up the grind!
Getting a video on how each of the primarchs would have reacted to being in Guillimans current situation would be pretty cool ngl
More Eldar videos would be even better tbh
that sound amazing, i also can see the Ynnari, making a call to Guilliman saying is time for him to payback the favor. So in some point we have some Grey Knight showing up, to provide some distraction or thing of the type, just to reinforce that old point about how Grey Knight have nothing against Eldar, but they love killing anything chaos related
Really good. I'd perhaps change one thing, namely Cegorach doesn't get himself killed but rather it's Cegorach getting Eldrad to sacrifice himself. It gives Eldrad a boss-ass send off and opens space for other characters to step up.
I'd also like to see the Drukhari contribute in some way. Perhaps they take on the Emperor's Children simultaneously?
I feel that clone fulgrim and redemption ark that could lead to a confrontation in coverage with a slanesh invasion with deamon fulgrim has the last sword and even ceogorath brings the kahn, emporer brings ghost ferrus manus and legion of damned rylannor and ynead birth with emporer tag team slanesh ynead kills slanesh but big e traps slanesh so it can't flee
In this scenario deamon fulgrim has the last chrome sword to kill yvraine personally because of his ego and pride and commeragh attack to lure more eldar be killed in this senario
This can be that slanesh was bluffing that she had no worries and would make the setting more interesting with guilman having to help comeragh to prevent slanesh entering realspace if she eats enough soul and could bring lion or down back before this before the kahn shows up as ceogoraths backup weapon who was in stasis it would help explain why yvrainne helped reviving guilliman and would lead to a new solid imperium eldar alliance both militarily and in terms of gods eldar pantheon and big e
The best way to release Clonegrim is to have him face Fulgrim in combat. The original wouldn't accept that a replication of him would stand carrying a beauty and nobility far greater than him. He would either be distressed or fall into a blind rage which either way would make him lower his guard enough to be defeated
It could get even better if the Emperor could somehow bring back Rylanor, i think hearing the phrase "The Ancient awaits" from him would be enough to shock Fulgrim to his core
@@thecommentguy9380 i
@TheCommentGuy that's the finale of the scene but it should start with him hunting fabius bile fir selling him and bringing him to guillman and fabius being absorbed to belasarius call but fabius can something posses call this would help revive more loyalist primarks in a way that makes sense as we have three primark be revived from death guilman kahn and clone fulgrim I would also have him kill lhcius cause fuck him but the later blade with the deamon I'd brought to try to tempt him to slanesh
Your recreation has some real Dante's Inferno vibes, and I like it. Need more "Hero goes balls deep, and doesn't stop even after she passes out."
Hoping that GW will get Slaneesh right is like hoping that oil rigs won't pollute, lol
But yeah, nah, this is fire; Cheo laughing at Slaneesh as she tears him apart is metal af, great send off
This video has reignited my love for the Ynnaries and the Eldars in general
I like how this storyline make perfect sense. I would love to see this happen
that is exactly why we can't have it in canon now, can we?
I'm not sure if I like the idea of Cegorach being killed, but otherwise, it's really nice. Maybe if he survives but gets really messed up or suffers a Khaine-like fate? I feel like having him stay in the trio of God's to fight Slaanesh would keep the Harleys relevant. Plus, he could get out of there using something like Slaanesh's true name or some rare knowledge from the Black Library. However, doing so would reveal the location of the library and endanger it. Making the whole escape a massive gamble.
This whole “how it should have happened” scenario is now my head-canon, it was perfect to me actually. I think the Solitaire should definitely have absolutely badass moments, especially because the lore has hyped up their power-level so much.
Ceogorach just pulling Jaghatai out of his pocket mid-tearing Slaanesh avatar apart could also be pretty nice
before Cegorach dies he could tell Ynnead ' Jagadai has been trapped in the webway for too long, bring him with you on your way out, and tell THe Gog Emperor i said hello.'
3:34 The Avatar of Khaine is as weak as paper mache! ... Or Raditz!
the part of the empowered emperor could be a perfect segway to bringing more of the primarchs both loyalist and traitor, since with his increase in power all the remaining primarchs could return knowing the father is alive through warp shenanigans, for instance jaghatai or even leman russ could try to find a way or pehapes be guided by him, and this could also appy to the traitors not believing and traying to finish what horus started
Also now that actual death is on the table the chaos gods would start taking things serious
Eldrad needs more face time in the universe. I mean he's the most gangster elf in the place and wacked the Cabal by himself. Would be rather interesting to have a psyker conversation between him and Big E. It could also tie up some loose ends in what Eldrad sent the Harlequins to do during the War of the Beast. All we know is he had a message for Big E. I'd almost like to think they had some collusion against the Chaos Gods.
"yo emps, want a cold one"
*"Ay eldrad thanks dude"*
as an eldar fan from the 90's, I agree with this storyline. Sounds great.
Yeah... this is the lore we need and deserve!!
As a new Eldar fan I’m pretty new to this but this seems very impactful and a better assembly of Eldar Lore but I feel like it is too hopeful as in it makes it seem like the setting will end so I have a slightly different idea. The get to a different planet not Terra and close the webway gate but they are scattered as in the physcic backlash scattered them all across the galaxy with the chrome swords entering the imperial palace shutting off the webway gate beneath the palace helping the big E but the Eldar now have a semblance of hope but it’s still far out. Even though you have a slightly better idea I feel like it is kinda to on the nose and makes it feel like the setting is about to end. Hell maybe the emperor organized it all so that the webway beneath the palace closes to help him kick the perverbial brick of his back.
Honestly i've always imagined Slaanesh as the "edgy kid" chaos, you've got death and deacy, sorcery and treachery, martial prowess and blind rage and...sex and drugs?
So i'd like for the fall of Slaanesh to be of both the Eldars and the other Big 3's doing, like getting the Sword and getting away with it because "Oh no it just happens that the other 3 are attacking all at once exactly at the worst moment who could have guessed?". The death of Slaanesh has to be the "Return of Guilliman" of the Eldars not the end of their plotline, everyone is ramping up so they MUST follow.
The Emperor will probably allowed the Eldar to leave the Imperial Palace for reliving that amount of pressure off him, and maybe even give them a way to reach that planet with his light guiding the way.
There are a LOT of problems with Phoenix Rising (Mostly the Solitaire getting jobbed), but I do think Ynnead had a pretty great showing. Just off the top of my head baby death god
1. Stole the soul of the slain Solitaire right out of Shalaxi's grasp.
2. Kicked Shalaxi out of Yvraine's head the moment it tried to enter.
3. BODIED Shalaxi in one vs one combat while taking NO noticeable damage. (Shalaxi got one hit in and the Yncarne smiled, pulled the spear deeper in and then just held the daemon in place while Yvraine decapitated it)
4. Casually brought the Visarch back to life while Shalaxi was monologueing. Baby death god doesn't have time for daemon BS.
And then Shalaxi ran away. Why would this super powerful daemon who just solo'd the Ynnari's best run away if it was only at 15% power or whatever? Since when do Slaaneshi daemons show restraint?! Personally I think the Yncarne scared the crap out of Shalaxi and it ran away with its tale between its legs. Don't know why Yvraine would believe a daemon of all things but there you go.
in my headcanon shalaxi wasn't at minimum power, he was bluffing. slaanesh wanting to de-moralize the enemy so after being empowered by shalaxi and still getting clapped, slaanesh does some trickery. to me this feels better as it still gives slaanesh some credit for trying and being the little bitch of a sore loser she/it is, while also giving more credit to the heroes who just clapped by an empowered slaaneshi demon even with moderate casualties.
Suggestion:
The Custodes bear down on the Eldar, and a Solitaire steps out from behind one, giving a mocking bow to the Emperor.
Emperor: You have done your part of the bargain. Leave my palace and Sol. Custodes, escort them. Do not forget I keep my bargains Xenos.
Cue maximum awkward as Custodes shieldhost has to escort the Yinnari to a webway gate outside of Sol, with no other explanation to give to the incredulous questions sent their way than 'The Emperor Wills It'.
The Solitaire that stepped out is the one that had been with the most of the way, leaving it unclear when he swapped out for the Laughing God, and had waited in the specified spot in the webway to rejoin them while they were distracted by seeing the golden crack of the Emperor's webway project.
Gulliman's reaction to learning he was indirectly saved by the Yinnari again would be priceless. Especially the realization that the Emperor is clearly still playing speed chess with schemes he doesn't inform his primarch's of. (I think it's fair to say he would understand why a deal with a Xeno's God was kept secret, but it'd still sting him.)
The problem is, first of all, that their named models who can really do something.
The Phoenix Kings have the same problem as the Avatar. You can kill them and then bring them back. That's why you do that.
Also, the Gw lore tries too hard to be dark.
It's a shame to see Gw make so little of its potential.
The writers of the books are just often bad.
I write deeper and better written stories for my RPG round.
Good to see where the fault lies in the case of the Ynari books.
Gw can't handle numbers.
Gw can't provide a reasonable motive for the chars why they are constantly fighting and threatening each other.
Yvrain and the viscarch threaten each other several times in the first chapter. Which should somehow contradict the lore itself.
These are just points why the whole thing feels like something wanted but not done.
The whole thing is such a shame because I actually like the warhammer world a lot. Otherwise I wouldn't comment here.
This is legit one of the best stories it could have been
Part two of Erda, I think it would be neat.
Sealing the webway under the imperial place would be so impactful that it might even give the emperor a chance to start healing himself
Love it when ya upload
I could actually hear the laughter in my mind. Epic movie scene.
Love your stuff mate keep it up!
I think Cegorach should say something when he’s being slain by Slaanesh.
Something where he’s complementing himself on pulling off the greatest gag in the history of the Eldar.
This was a proper lore idea. I’m super on board for it honestly. 👍
That manscaped plug."Being generous" was number 1 on that list. What a polite way to say "has money and is willing to spend it"
this is exactly what should've happened with the Ynnari, hands down. they were the best chance for the Eldar, rather than just hiding out on Craftworlds slowly dying... They need to fix this shit with the Ynnari, big time. I've also heard that the Grey Knights are hunting the Ynnari for some reason, Yvraine and the gang need to back hand these grey boys back to Imperial space for trying to mess with anything that's not a demon. and if the Imperium is gonna keep being dicks to the Eldar, Yvraine needs to snatch back G-Mans soul so the Ultra blue boys can whine an cry all the way back to Ultramar.
Ending cuts perfectly in EMPEROR TEXT TO SPEECH BABY
Eldar are underrated. Except for that part in Throneworld where 2 of them invaded the Imperial palace and took on the Custodes. That was some bs Guy Haley
Do you have any in lore reason why the very best of the best of the Old Ones' genetic super weapons designed for eons of war with gods would not be a league above mankind's first attempt?
@@KCUFyoufordoxingme I don't know, maybe all the releics from the dark age of technology they have. Or maybe the fact that they were hand picked by the emperor himself. Them being augmented to the extent they were comparable to an entire squad of space marines individually. It could be that there were hundreds if not thousands of them protecting the emperor along with all manor of machines built to rip new orifices in anything that even got close. The fact that it was their home turf which the invading Eldar were unfamiliar with could play a role in my assessment. Oh wait, it was all of those things. Yeah, that's why it was bs.
@@KCUFyoufordoxingme 65 million years passed and their psychic prowess have diminished significantly. Like probably an ancient Eldar soldier could beat Slaanesh to death by themself
But in present time? Taking on the custodes would be a massive stretch for most eldar. Harlequins being slippery would be normal, but shouldn't be enough to "one-shot dozens of custodes", then again there was a Death Jester i heard
@@Madashell1200 without escort, when are they not spanked by anything with psychic powers? Their greatest feats are killing bugs, and worst losses when they try to go toe to with anything warp or psychic without either help or are physically within the inner chambers of the palace with all that dark age tech helping them. The kind of tech that custodes bring to bear in open combat the eldar have a superior equivalent of. Their skill is demonstrably comparable. Custodes might have more training with each other, but that would only help so much outside of a military objective. Harlequins should just be a head above custodes one on one in exposed fighting. Dark age weapons are locked up. They would not be standing around outside with a bucket of planet erasing grey goo balanced on their heads. And aren't the custodes "hand picked" all from one rich family or something? They are not pulled from the best of the best across the galaxy or anything. Also, what made dark age technology DARK AGE in the first place was because it flatly lost to even mid level psykers. Otherwise, no dark age could occur.
honestly think this makes the whole psychic awakening storyline a lot better. gw should have done something a long these lines.
Now this would be a blast to read and made canon asap. Only we need a competent writer to put this into reality, any suggestions who?
Ok that alternate lore sounds so much better. And also, pew pew scoot scoot LOL.
To be quite honest this set up is really solid but i just think it needs to add more fluff on the journey to slaanesh's palace more twisted tempting but also creative to Eldar point of view and also Chegorach's plan to be more like a hidden 5d chess play so that we the reader as well is cackling along side the laghing god.
Emperor be like "um excuse me what the actual fuck are you doing in my house"
I would prefer them appearing in the golden palace by being grabbed by a huge pair of golden hands or something.
By chance showing up in the palace is a little odd but the emperor bringing them there knowing they will close the gate is better imo.
Id make this whole thing a collab between large chunks of big e and cheogorath with cheo intentionalyy opening a gate leading to the human webway and the eldar getting out with heavy support from custodes, sisters and big e himself
Before watching the video I have 2 points in mind:
1) Have the whole finding of the crone-swords go down much slower and have Slaanesh getting aware of it and trying to stop them much earlier in the grand sceme of things. Don't progress the whole finding of the swords so fast that you write yourself into a corner and reach the endgame status fast.
2) Have them beat and banish the actual Shalaxi and not just a fraction of her/his/its power. After that Slaanesh sends Fulgrim after them (that would also add more to their alliance with RG, since Fulgrim put him in his 10k coma).
Edit: Your option is also pretty good.
Haven’t watched the whole vid but here’s my take; GW was probably a bit afraid of turning ynnead into fantasy twins 2.0 and making the fans think they’re going to can Slanesh… again. Honestly, with how long the eldar live and how fucking vague they are in general, they could have done ynnead as less an intsa tpk for Slanesh and it’s more a prolonged warfare that henges in the eldar favor. But cause humans are, you know, the main character. It never looks like anything’s getting done. Only eldar and other beings who live as long or longer than them feel any real significant progress is happening against Slanesh specifically. Like the eldar just take out a major hate boner, ironically, on Slanesh and her slutty forces.
GW should make every ynnari member equal to phoenix lord or phoenix lords doesn't need armor to reincarnate
Gotta say. From a goofy Aussie, that's frickin awesome bit of thought power gone into that.
Brilliant work as always 👍🏻
I had the same idea! That closing the Webway would feedback energy into the Golden Throne. The side effect being that it revitalized the Emperor. See? Just because you and I are super good looking doesn't mean we don't have a creative bone in our, well sculpted bodies! 😉
I like this arc. The story would have a LOT of room to grow, and as an avid reader, it would be good to see some “worth it” Eldar/Dark Eldar series/novels. It’s been fairly thin, lately.
Genuinely, there are so many levels and details that tell me you have SERIOUS potential as a writer
The best hope for the Eldar is for the Big E to be healed by and marry Isha (after Russ rescues her from Nurgle) thus bringing the two races into an alliance and maybe bringing back hybrids.
that won't be good since than two major factions make a permanent alliance means they wont fight anymore in a you know a war game needs fighting, why the hell does the eldar footing needs to be gained through the god damne imperium why can't every faction make their own progress
@@Hevno You wouldn't need to have every Eldar faction accept the alliance lol.
@@Hevno This war game has the imperium factions fighting each other all the time lol
So Cegorach "dies" but then the remaining seal around around the last dance comes undone and the keepers of us quickly open to read the greatest of all words of power!
Bazinga! Suddenly laughter fills the Black library as Cegorach revives again! Another perfect ploy!
Day 8 of asking for Kratos vs 40k
Miles above what GW gave us, but I'd imagined Cegorach's plan would be more along the lines of the Eldar starting a war with some one that has ability to destroy. their souls and the power to damage Slannesh (Necrons possibly). Then she would have to combat the Necrons to save the Eldar, as to not lose their souls, and the battle would weaken her to the point where the Necrons and Eldar would join forces and Cegorach can make his move or something to that effect.
You could also bring Fulgrim and Jaghatai back within this story too.
Instead of the 'avatar' of Slaanesh they fight, it could be Fulgrim empowered even further within the realm. Then as Cegorach reveals himself and opens the webway, out walks the great Khan. This is the reason Cegorach had him hidden for 10000 years, for this moment.
Tbh, this was badass. Infinitely more interesting and cinematic than just stone walling the entire thing like GW have done. Plus, reading some dialogue direct from Cegorach and Slaneesh would have sold the book by itself.
Emperor when Ynnari closes the portal: All according to plan
"Nice cut G" and that was a WILD turn at the end.
Yeah that felt really followable and well polished. I could see that written up for sure.
I read the thumbnail as "Fixing trash: Eldar lore", and was look ooh that's some niche lore
See, they could even make it that Cegorach happily let themselves be consumed because they sent a slither of their power back with the reformed Crone Swords that then disperses amongst the remaining Solitaires. Therefore they aren't AS powerful, but still remain to be the shapers of destiny. That, mixed with the knowledge that Slannesh just played their death is why Cegorach laughed - the great enemy was played by the "least powerful" remaining god and a bunch of mortals.
You missed a pretty good place to bring Jaghatai back in this, could have been fun.
Honestly majorkill, you should write these books. This is way cooler than the canon book imo.
Artefacts/treasures of Vulkan update and speculation on what they could be would be pretty cool ngl.
Absolutely amazing. My favourite part of your channel is you head cannon. I’ve been following you for about two years and really brought me back into the lore. I’m a one time blood bowl/space hulk player and until I found your channel I hadn’t thought of WH40K in almost 20 years. You’ve inspired me to deep dive into the lore and even begin to come up with some of my own. Not going to get into it but the Red Wake is a Primarch… change my mind.
Keep up the great work and thanks for being a channel I truly look forward to seeing new content on.
Cheers.
This is definitely alot better than what we got. You could even argue with this that the return of the death god would ultimately undo ceogorache's own death. He knew he would be back.
Can even have the custodes show up in the end. The ones who are about prophecy and protect people who are to do something great against chaos. That's how they get off Terra with little fuss and are sent on their way
Visually I think the Visarch looks so cool. @7:15 is awesome art too.
Or they could've used Iyanna Arienal, that Spiritseer that was already trying to awaken Ynnead, which works thematically because Spiritseers deal with the souls of dead Eldar, and thus death themed, and Iyanna already comes with a kickass helper Althenian Armourlost, a rare Wraithlord made with the spirit stones of an Exarch whose armour was lost.
Or, just create a bunch of brand new characters and just tell us how cool and epic their backstories are though we've never heard about any of it before, and also throw in some wierd lore breaking stuff like the Visarch falling so in love with one of his pupils that he just stops being an Exarch.
Your proposed fix to the travesty that currently exists in this part of the lire is amazing! Well done. I hope GW actually takes notice of the sup ghetto on and acts on some (if not all) of it. And then gives you credit (and perhaps royalties too).
