I have a '57 Ford Custom 2dr sedan. I've had it since 1969. 1970, I put a de-stroked Ford 427 FE engine in it. I set three NHRA records with it. 3 years ago, I did a re-fresh to the car. This past Memorial Day weekend, it turned 3 high 9's at the NHRA track in Epping NH. I'm now considering putting a Ford "385" series engine in it. Look at my profile photo. It was taken in 1970 when I set it's first E/G NHRA record of 11.4. By 1973, it was turning high 10's.
There was a Hull Dobbs dealership in Winston Salem, NC. My sister was in nurses training at City Hospital, WS, N.C. We would go down to WS every weekend, so at the top of Liberty Street I would go to HD and slobber over all the hot Fords on the lot. I saw one of the aluminum front end, stripped interior 1963 fastbacks, with “Do Not Lean on fenders” signs,at HD, a 406 c.I.,1962 galaxies, and a 1961 hot Ford in those days. Whooowheee, good times!
This was just an awesome build. All the precision ,down to the last detail ...words fail me ,in describing this totally awesome build.. I just loved watching the vidio. More than once..lol

Incredible build, great job....
To bad the rear end was narrowed 2" to far after all that work.. other than that beautiful car.
Great job. I wish l'd kept my 57 Ford custom.
Luckily, I still own mine. I've had it since 1969. See my profile photo.
