They aren’t known over here in the U. S. But in Europe it is a different story. People here love water with lemon and are not used to real perfumes. These are fragrances for people that like Chanel, Hermes or Tom Ford as an example.
As an agnostic nevertheless living in a HIGHLY religious country, I'm sure every secular individual has smelt camphor burning during Hindu ceremonies, and it's usually associated with spiritualism and serious environments (temples and priests). Is it a good note within this fragrance? That's subjective, but personally, to me, this note lends an air of seriousness to a very, very dark and serious Parfum. It goes very well and acts as a mental precursor to fire, since camphor is highly flammable. Now there are two ways this fragrance makes me feel, either transported to the captain's cabin of an 18th century ship 4 months into a voyage and facing thunderstorms for weeks while transporting casks of cognac, or in the antechamber of the mythical palace of Lakshagraha, the sinister ignitable palace from the Hindu epic, the Mahabharata. I suppose that's where the reference to Nero comes in. This fragrance has been written, not composed. Blended, not mixed. A place in time transported to, not a theme alluded to.
Super interesting review!! To be honest, I didn´t know this house, I´m impressed! Which one of the line would be good for the spring and summer? Thank you in advance!! Your friend from Argentina, Matias.
Hey Max, great review. I was wondering where I can get some samples of the Laudano Nero? I would love to spray some on for a few days before investing in this perfume.
+Max Forti Great review as usual. Did you get my email in regards to a pricing on a few different brand? Please let me know if you havent just as yet so I can resend it,thanks.
Thanks Marc, I've tried the house back in 2015 and from all the offerings this was the one I gravitated towards the most... Just now the brand is starting to catch on. Have you tried this brand - what are your thoughts?!
Actually I bought this one a month ago and I was amazed since then. Excellent longevity, and amazing smell. Not a generic smell at all, and makes people remember you! I was surprised how little known by the frag community. I just saw your review now and feel happy that a respected reviewer like you also agrees on my opinions about this fragrance.
Barış Sarıçayır hey arkadaš nasilsin, i have question bro is this has a smiliraties of amber absolute by tomford and enigma by roja dove? I hope you reply bro and please describe the scent bro 😉
Mm, I want this to be as good as Enigma but I can't help but feel from Fragrantica reviews that maybe it will be a little too smoky and herbal. Enigma starts off fresh and peppery with the citric bergamot for me. Have to get a sample of this but Maremma should be enough for me.
Yes, yes on this one. It has greater performance than Black Afgano, and when you compare the two, LN wins hands down. But when you just wear BA without smelling the LN, you are not sad. But, when you compare them side by side, BA is a frag for children in grade school, and LN is the frag that you are wearing as a high-powered mover and shaker. LN is not for pedestrian, sophomoric, soy boy, ineffectual men.
Hello Max, nice review. I can't find their official website. Searched in google, but nothing. Pls give me link.

Hi, would you say the gold logo on the front of the box is smooth or raised?
Solid overall review on Laudano Nero Max. One of the firsts to review it and enjoyed your take.

+The Scented Photographer thanks, let me know your thoughts on it...
Excellent review! I'm tempted to give this one a whirl...but I can't stand s'mores or cognac. Still, Laudano Nemo sounds like an impressive fragrance.
+Jim R Hey Jim, definitely a phenomenal scent, one of my faves for this year's Fall/Winter of 2015!
one of my faves! yes it is unisex!
