I like Aristotle, from what I know of him anyway. I can see why they called him THE Philosopher. We need another like him today. Most people today have absolutely no sense whatsoever. Are they in the Twighlight Zone or am I?
This is more of a history question, but one regarding Plato, Aristotle's teacher. Do you think that the Eye of the Sahara was the location of Atlantis, as described in "Critias". George Alexander has made a convincing theory about that particular matter. If anything, I bet it would be a great exercise for your students in syntax, logic and Aristotelian Syllogisms. "What has philosophy done lately?"
But why is it that Phronesis is translated as Practical Wisdom? Isnt Phronesis greek for Prudence? how can Phronesis be translated as practical wisdom when the word doesnt contain the word sophia?
