  • From the 2024/25 season, all players, in all formats of the game (including non-contact), will be required to register themselves annually to play rugby within RFU member clubs.
To help clubs and Constituent Bodies (CBs) get ready for Adult Player Registration, the RFU organised a programme of informative webinars. By attending these sessions, club and CB administrators can find out how you can help get their club or CB ready for Adult Player Registration - and get access to the support and guidance that is available.
This recording is of the first session in this webinar programme.
Ahead of Adult Player Registration, players will need an up to date, verified email address on their GMS account. This session focused on the importance of this, how administrators can support their clubs and players to get ready, and the guidance and resources available to help them.

As we move forward to implementation from 1 July 2024, we are asking clubs to get ready for next season by making sure that their players’ email addresses are verified on the Game Management System (GMS).
Please note, this is only for players that already have GMS accounts. If a player does not have a GMS account, they do not need to complete this process.
