For everyone who didnt understand the video
The petrol from fuel tank needs to be drained before parceling . They drain it by sucking using a tube and also put a cloth in the fuel tank and wipe the insides to drain the petrol contents . Unfortunately a piece of cloth was stuck inside the tank and blocked the fuel pump in this case .
Also this is a "fuel injector" based fuel system bike and not like normal carburettor type . As fuel is completely removed ,we should only try to start the bike only after filling the tank with petrol . Even if we casually try to start , it will affect the fuel system ..
Here the cloth damaged the fuel pump and was luckily replaced with warranty claim

Just saying;
Delhi is one of the worst cities to live in.
- High living costs (rent of 1RK is min 10k on an average)
- Electricity is 8 rs per unit. For a bachelor, it goes upto 2k per month without fridge, washing machine.
- Worst food. Totally unhygienic. South Indian food is costly.
- Extreme weather.
- Commercial minded people. Don't expect anyone to help u. People here would eat u alive for money.
- Conjusted. Since most of the land belongs to Govt, people live in dingy and conjusted areas. If u get a house with windows, u r lucky.
- No safety. There are thieves in every gully. Robbery is common here.
Bangalore is absolutely a heaven compared to this sh*thole.
Who else thinks this could be a scam , cloth was put on purpose and they knew he would go to the same showroom which was one to railway station ,to get it repaired, hmmm may be I am wrong , but who knows

I dont think so. They will give you the keys. They cannot open the tank lid without a key. This is clearly a mishap while packing.

I sold my impulse, engine low quality bore, pricol meter 3rd class, carb it's 3rd class.
You should get a transit insurance. That will cover all damages and theft during transit

The railway parcel employees (out sourced) who load and unload the bikes are untrained and are least bothered about others things. I had booked by vintage bullet which is 52 yrs old from Coimbatore to Bangalore. And travelled in the same train. Alighted at Bangalore SBC and went to the luggage van and to my surprise the idiot was pushing the bike out all alone. I screamed at him and the contractor brought couple of guys and got it down. Meanwhile that single fellow had already damages the mudguard and broke the reflector and the indicator. I must have rode the bike but did not want to stress by bull..
Bangalore to Coimbatore is roughly 360 kms man, I would ride a Vintage bullet any day that distance over parceling it by ANY means unless its your own SUV...

Transferring bike in train is always risky. I had also took my bike from Bangalore to my home town safely . One thing you can do to make sure it is safe is that Make sure when they onboard your bike in parcel van, please be there and make sure no one put heavy luggage on your bike.
And also ask from parcel guy that where where this parcel van will open then at that time also please be present there and at last while off boarding the bike.
Damage occurs not due to parcel guy or railways, it occurs when labour put different parcels in parcel van, at that time it causes damage
Transporting bike in a train is always a risk. I recently did my ladakh trip carrying bike from Mumbai to Chandigarh. The experience was not pleasant but luckily we managed to complete the trip and bring the bike safely back to Mumbai.

I had a short circuit while riding to Bhutan!! Late in the night at 4am we err leaving from Siliguri and the bike won’t start!! We did everything for 2 hours till 6 am and it dint work! We had to reach out to RE and they helped us at 11 am just when we approached them!!

@@sravan6492 Sorry i dont use youtube on phone so late reply. For FI engine there will be no carb so cannot empty the full tank by removing the pipe from Carb. So they put a stick with some cloth on the end to absorb all he remaining petrol and that got stuck inside and clogged the Fuel injector.! Before shipping the bike in railway full tank should be empty. So be careful while removing the last few bit of petrol by using cloth from tank. hope ithelps.

We pack the whole bike ourselves and tip the packers at Railway station and also gift them the drained fuel for free just to avoid this situation. Even then you’ll have small dents and scratches which is unavoidable as the bikes are unloaded by a different team at your destination

I took my bike twice from my native to hyderabad and from Hyderabad to Bangalore nothing happened.. where ever you go you need to empty your petrol tank for safety... It is not railway department rules guru... Railway is best economy wise... More over now days bike technology are delegated...

I believe it’s from station to station depending on how strictly they follow the rules in terms of taking care of the products. I’ve heard mic experiences but usually negatives one like dent in petrol tank, bent in handle bars or clutch etc
