Membina masa hadapan yang lebih baik bagi Singapura

Dalam upacara angkat sumpah, Perdana Menteri baharu Lawrence Wong yang mengambil alih daripada Encik Lee, berikrar untuk berkhidmat kepada semua rakyat Singapura dan berkerja keras untuk memperbaik mutu kehidupan mereka. Beliau yakin rakyat Singapura boleh merebut peluang-peluang baharu untuk membina Singapura yang lebih baik dan menyeru untuk sama-sama melakar masa hadapan yang lebih cerah.
Perdana Menteri Lawrence Wong berkata demikian semasa upacara angkat sumpah di Istana pada 15 Mei 2024.

In a speech at his swearing-in ceremony, the new Prime Minister Mr Lawrence Wong, who is taking over from Mr Lee, pledged to serve all Singaporeans and work to improve their quality of life. He expressed confidence in seizing new opportunities to build a better Singapore, and called for unity in charting a brighter future.
Prime Minister Lawrence Wong was speaking at the swearing-in ceremony at the Istana on 15 May 2024.
