He's been deprived of his only sense of security (his job) because the bourgeois has decided he's no longer "economically viable" and has decided the only way to solve his problems is to go on a rampage and see his wife and kid again. Falling Down is a cautionary tale. When you finally realize that the world is fucked beyond all repair and you've been duped your whole life, if you choose to revolt or lash out with no purpose, the only reward you'll receive is a swift death. (D-Fens doesn't even survive to see the end of the day)
this music video is so good. it makes it seem like the song was literally made based on the movie. was it a movie you seen before and when crustsox made this song you thought about how much the lyrics went along with parts of the movie so you made an edit?
